We chose to reconfigure the wall and save the tree. Pete's part of the project was to replace the brick wall. The wall is beautiful - better and stronger than the original. "Our basement has been leaking forever, probably since the house was originally built. Every time it would rain hard, water would seep in between the foundation walls and basement slab. After a hard rain, I would vacuum up 15-20 gallons of water with my wet/dry vacuum. We had a landscaping and irrigation company put in french drains to deflect rainwater, which didn't help at all. I called a few local companies but none *specialized* in basement waterproofing, so I called two larger regional companies to get quotes. We called AquaGuard and BDry, and got a quote from each. Both seemed professional, both had great financing options, but BDry came in significantly lower in price. Almost half the price of AquaGuard's proposal. We went with BDry. They completed the waterproofing in about 2 days, were very professional, and cleaned up pretty well when they left. It's been over six months since we had the basement waterproofed, and we haven't had a drop of water in the basement since. Now that we are confident the basement won't leak, we started finishing the basement. Plumbers cut the concrete to move drain lines for a toilet and shower, and accidentally cut into the BDry drain lines. BDry gave me an entire section of the corrugated drain and piece to connect it so my plumber could fix it, and they didn't charge me a dime. Their service is awesome, and I would recommend them to anyone with basement waterproofing services."

"Wonderful! The rotten wood was discovered during the demolition for two bathroom remodels. Once discovered the bath remodeling contractor was not equipped to repair the underlying structural damage. A local engineer highly recommended Jeff Hall and Southern Contracting, who promptly came out to assess the extent of the damage that had likely been there for decades hidden behind the walls that were now exposed. He designed a rebuild of the bathroom stack (1st & 2nd floor) to include wall plates, flooring and ceiling structures. He assigned the construction work to a very experienced superintendent, Jeff who has been with the company for 7-years. He came with a crew of three men (Dev, Hunter and Andy). First and foremost, they did a great job! The structure is now stronger than when the property was built in 1929. Plus they were all very polite and very considerate of us as they performed the work. They put paper down on the floors to minimize the mess as they came in and out and also cleaned up well afterwards. It was a really good experience from the first call to their office all the way to the finish. I would highly recommend Southern Contracting."

"Hand scraped bamboo flooring was installed in the living room and stairs of our prior home. 18 inch tiles including the needed sub flooring were placed in the kitchen. Jared and his crew did a great job, were timely and professional, and were very responsive. Additionally, the price was fair for the quality of work produced and we have since rehired to repair the deck on a recently purchased home."

"You can’t go wrong with this highly experienced Company headed by Mr. Eddie Freeman. They can provide all large or small services, from the complete renovation or repair of any or all interior or exterior of properties to small sophisticated repairs. There are very few building and service tasks that they cannot accomplish at an economical expense. I had two large windows with wood rot, one in front and the other, a specialty kitchen window in back,. I contacted several well known contractors to come and evaluate for options to repair. One wanted to replace the front one (double window) but this would entail all of the front ones (3) to be replaced also so as to maintain the building appearance. ( Super expensive option). Other companies offered somewhat similar expensive options. The rear kitchen window would also need to be replaced, but they could not guarantee duplicating the function and design. Mr. Freeman viewed and because of his expertise, suggested repair of the damage to the front window. Although bad, he thought repair was possible with a new sash and accurate wood work. He cautioned me that the rear window however was extremely damaged and very well may need to be replaced. With his extensive contacts he said he could arrange an almost exact duplicate. I accepted his thoughts and quotes and the repairs were accomplished as advertised and indeed the kitchen window was replaced to our satisfaction. Bottom line: Mr. Freeman saved me a significant amount of monies through his expertise and knowledge. ( Not only that, but he is a very likeable person. )"
