Andrew removed door from hinges, removed broken contraption and replace with new door set and back on hinges. He also replace my deadbolt set on my front door. Everything works great! He did a great job, very nice to work with, highly recommend!"

"CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was needed to get a good result."

"They did an efficient and very professional job.  I had underestimated the number of windows, but Eric would come back to me for a decision as to whether to go ahead with the extra ones or not.  I don't think the windows in the house had been cleaned in 8-10 years and they left them SPOTLESS.  The staff were very friendly and accommodating.   <br /> My deck was a real mess after this last winter, with birds, squirrel and raccoons having spread dirtied suet all over it, in addition to all the roof gunk resulting from earlier ice dam removal. The power cleaning got rid of all the grease, detritus and dirt.  It also removed some of the paint on the deck, which I wasn't surprised about, given the amount of winter damage.  I'll have to deal with that separately.   <br /> All in all an excellent experience.  Thanks to Eric and his team."

"The remodeling project was quite overwhelming, but Kurt was very helpful and patient.  He had some good ideas that he recommended for my house; some of them I followed through on, and some I denied.   He was very prompt with his e-mails and phone calls when I had concerns or questions.  He also was very good about informing me of what was going to be happening the next day. <br /> <br /> On the negative side, Kurt, himself installed the crown moulding in my living room and kitchen, and did very sloppy work!  Also, a closet door had to be removed to install the floor tiles.   When they replaced the doors back, they installed the doors incorrectly.   When I confronted Kurt about it, he and his employee insisted that they did it correctly.  He said he would re-install the doors, as he was obligated to do so, but stated in an e-mail  that "I would like to respectfully propose that you leave the closet door as we left it."  I chose not to have Kurt correct the problem, as I did not want to deal with them any further, being given such a hard time about it.   Therefore, I had my handyman install the doors correctly, as he also felt that the doors had been re-stalled incorrectly by Kurt and his employee.   At the end, there were several little misc. projects that I had requested for Kurt to do.   He allowed only one day for those projects to be completed as he was starting a new project the next day with a new client.   Plus during that one last day, he had to leave for a few hours to meet with a new client.  During the course of the remodeling project, Kurt stated that we would be having a walk through at the end with his partner, which never happened.  Also, I don't recall of having an exit meeting with Kurt, as time wasn't allowed for that.    Therefore, at the end, I felt very rushed with the completion of my 5 1/2 week remodeling project with Kurt."

"When Kris had come the first time, he did the work in the amount of time estimated.  On the second visit, the estimate in time was not enough to do all the work (minus the chair repair).  I agreed to the going over so that he would not have to return to do those items.   <br /> He did a great job of painting the front outside door.  Made sure all was protected and did several coats.  He told me exactly what he was doing, so I would understand.  The painting of two small walls was done with out any issues.  And I am very pleased with all of his work.   <br /> I will have Kris return when I have another list of items to be done.   <br /> Kris is friendly, polite, great with the dog. I can't say enough about his work.   <br />"

"D's Doors was amazing!!!  I've only been a homeowner for a year (and am clearly ignorant, not even knowing the proper names of most garage/house parts), so when calling a repair person, I am usually nervous that someone will see a chance to overcharge me.  But these guys were able to accurately estimate the cost of repair over the phone from my description of the problem.  They also text (which I appreciate, as I am usually unable to take personal calls at work), so it was easy for me to set up the date for them to come fix the garage door.  They arrived promptly, fixed the door (it still works great :), and only charged what they'd estimated over the phone.  They even went WAY above and beyond, and included in the price putting back up a piece of roof fascia on my two-story house that had blown off in a weekend storm!  I would definitely hire them again.
