"CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was needed to get a good result."

He came and measured the closets, quickly sent back design ideas for what we were looking for, made any changes to the designs that we asked for in a day or so, and was able to do all of the installation over the course of two mornings. They even worked around our kid’s nap schedule for installing. Rick and one other guy did all of the installation. It turned out exactly how I was hoping, gave us tons of storage, and looks great. "We had a french patio door and 11 windows replaced in our home in Stillwater, Mn. We were extremely pleased with all areas of the process. Although the project was originally planned for mid November and did not start until mid-December and the weather created a few issues, the project was completed in a timely manner once it was started. I was very pleased with our installation crew: Chris, Gabe and Tanner. They worked very hard, were very considerate and punctual. Our sales person, Chris, did an excellent job in explaining the construction and product, Marvin Infinity windows and doors. The QC inspector, Josh was extremely thorough. Very little work had to be redone but Josh made sure every scratch and defect was replaced. We were extremely pleased with the thoroughness of his work. Every member of the Lindus team was professional, polite, informative and respectful. We listen to Andy Lindus on WCCO radio and that was the reason we choose Lindus Construction. The cost of our project was high and more than I expected to pay but we are very pleased with the end result."

"Dan quickly diagnosed the primary problem, which was a relay which was stuck. Once he fixed that, the machine reset and was ready to play. Dan then proceeded to go through the entire machine to make sure it was working properly. He replaced some burned out bulbs, changed several of the O-rings which were worn, discovered that someone had used an incorrect spring on one of the bumpers, replaced it with the correct sping, and cleaned the corrosion which had built up over the years on some of the electrical contacts. Dan did not mind my and quot;standing over his shoulder,and quot; asking him questions as he worked on my machine. It was obvious that he knew a lot about pinball machines. He also offered me some general maintenance tips on how to take care of the machine so that I only need to call him when the machine needs repair. In total, Dan spent two hours getting my machine back into tip-top shape. He was a pleasant individual who had great people skills! The quality of his work was excellent and the cost was very fair. Having him work on my machine was a very positive experience! If my pinball machine needs repair in the future, Dan is definitely the man I'm going to call. <br />"

"<p>Both the hardwood project and the tile project went as close to what was planned as could be expected.  A few little problems were discovered when they got into the projects (e.g. more cat damage than expected), but nothing more than the sort of thing one would anticipate in doing renovation work.  For the hardwood flooring there were no additional charges, and for the tile there was a modest and justified additional charge.</p> <p>The quality of the work (including details like trim) on both projects equaled or exceeded expectations, and the price was equal or lower than other bids.  B&R is highly rated on Angie's List, and justifiably so.  In that regard I should comment on a couple of negative reviews I saw when I went on Angie's List to check them out.  I don't think anyone really complained about the quality of the work, but some people found Kurt Kuhlman a bit difficult to deal with.  He does tend to run on with a lot of suggestions, but most of them are pretty good, and I never felt he was trying to sell me more than I wanted to do.  Indeed, many of the suggestions related to ways to maybe save money.</p> <p>So I'd say take Kurt with at least a little grain of salt and then stand back while B&R does a really fine job.  I plan to renovate my bathrooms in a year or so, and I certainly will call Kurt again.</p> <p>  </p> <p><br></p>"
