We have done a couple projects with SMS Construction before, and basically Scott, (the Owner) comes out, to see what you are looking for, he will go over any idea's that he may have to see if it would make more sense a different way, cheaper for us to do it just a little different, or anything else that comes to mind. It has never been negative, it has always helped us out, and been things we have never thought about. After taking his notes, he will then contact you in the next couple days to go over the typed up bid that he figured out. He doesn't ask for all of the money up front, and has it all typed in Black and white as far as what your going to get for the price. Then when the job is finished and you are happy with the job (which you will be) you pay the remainder of the contract/bid. If there are ever any problems or changes during the project he has called one of us to keep in contact with us and ask us what we would like to do from there. There hasn't ever been any hidden charges, just upgrades for things we have added onto the original bid."
