"I was so impressed with Top of the Line Painting. Weather held up the work for over a week but Matt stayed in touch almost every day. His team came at the designated time and finished staining not only a two-tier deck but also painted the front porch in less than a day. They also pressure-washed the house and it looks beautiful. The work they performed was absolutely professional and I am extremely happy with the job they did. I highly recommend this company!"

"They were busy and I had to wait two weeks for their next opening but it was well worth the wait. I'll call them first for every paint need that I have in the future!"

"Sanchez paint crew spent over two days prepping the deck by hand stripping, pressure washing, damage repair, and sanding. Key areas like top rails were primed and seams sealed. On 3rd day, 2 coats of solid color stain have my deck looking like new. I might add that temp approached 100 each day. The crew was polite, neat and responsive. No mess at all...could not tell they had been there each day other than the work completed. We will definitely use again!"

"Simple gutter cleaning but Ben was great! He quickly responded to my texts and made sure to take before and after pictures to document his work. Super affordable and got the job done quickly. Would definitely use him again for other tasks."

"They didn't have the specialties required for this project. They said they could take down the door and place it on the lawn to work on. Then they would sand the door by hand and then paint with an rust preventative and then with the White paint. None of the suggestions would work. We required SodaBlasting to remove the old paint. Then Powder coat with White coating."

"During the course of the estimate & the work, all went fine. It wasn't until the weeks & months afterward that I noticed mistakes made by the crew that did the work; e.g., paint mistakenly applied in places (frames), paint spilled in some places (carpeting by closet), and -- most disappointing to me -- the seams in ceilings that were to have been mudded, smoothed and painted have, over time, become more and more visible. I don't know if the quality of the mud was such that it shrank over time, or what, but the ceiling areas that were to have been smoothed now have very visible seams. Part of the fault was mine in not doing a more careful check during the walk-through with the painting crew when they finished, so that I didn't notice many of these issues until later on. Credit goes to the owner, who offered to come to see the job afterwards, and I said he needn't bother; that said, the ceiling seams didn't show this bad until some months later."

"Communication was excellent. Painting skill was good. When I have them back to do more I will supply shoe covers. We did have some red clay tracked in on the carpet. We did manage to get the stain out. I would hire them again."

"They were very easy to work with. We had a couple small issues (Missed Spots, we painted white over white), that were corrected right away. Their cleanup was very good, and they made sure they protected the shrubs etc. There were about 3 employees who did the work. We had to reschedule a few times due to the hurricane in the area, which was understandable. This was my first time using them, and I would recommend them to anyone. My neighbor may be using them too, and they were impressed with what they saw. They were not the cheapest, or most expensive quote that we got (3 different quotes)."

"They was friendly, energetic and respectable. The was well rounded, they did the project they was hired for plus a few other small things around the house. Their pricing was also very reasonable. I plan to use them again in the near future for other work."

"EXCELLENT! I am so pleased with the work quality, the punctuality, the courteous and respectful employees. They were not the lowest bid, but we went with them because we felt they could deliver quality on time. They did. They were well worth the little extra they charged. They actually found more repair than they had estimated. They did not ask to increase the quote. We did up the payout because of the professional way they handled everything. The workers were so careful of our plants and other more fragile items outdoor. We will have them back anytime we need inside or outside painting."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Cayce, SC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
