"A person came out, said we'd get an estimate the next day. In spite of subsequent requests on our part, we never heard from this company again. Apparently this company's work is excellent. Possibly our job was just too small for their staff to bother with. We're getting someone else to do the work. As it turned out a bid was placed in our mailbox Friday July 20th. Had we gotten that bid earlier, we probably would have accepted it as it was less than we'll be paying."

Driveway in 2 days! Very clean and professional work. They had all the right tools to get the job done right. Also answered all of my questions and were very accommodating to my requests. "Contractor was chronically late for all appointments by 2-3 hours. He stayed and worked well into the evening, even in the dark. I appreciate that he got it done eventually, but did not like having someone there till 9:30 at night. He did a good job on the concrete stairs - they look great. He left a mess in my basement when he repaired the front stoop. He also used a folding chair in my basement to stand on without asking - it is now a mess. For the wood railing on the back stoop, I specifically asked for a 4-5" space to be left under the bottom of the railing so I could sweep snow off in the winter. I also wanted the railing going down the stairs. At first, he did not want to do this (said something about code did not require it for the 3 steps going up) but it was part of the estimate that I approved. I asked him to fix the space under the railing and put on the railing for the stairs. He did come back and fix all to my satisfaction. Very nice guy, just not punctual or professional.

"They did a great job. Tore the driveway out, and hauled all the stuff away when they were done. Poured the concrete in, covered it all down, made sure that nothing ran off the property. I am very happy with their work!"

"Work was done in a timely and professional manner. The owners were very responsive about any questions we had. Work crew was friendly and wanted to make sure work was done correctly and how we wanted it to look. They had excellent attention to detail. It was very apparent they were knowledgeable. Crew returned property to pre-work clean. They will be providing sod for any area where the lawn suffered. It was a pleasant experience to work with E & R. I highly recommend them. We will be having them do our driveway in the next year or so."
