"My elderly uncle had a fire in a portion of his home in Georgetown, TX. The fire damaged the floor, walls, ceiling, and windows and the smoke/soot damaged the majority of his home. I live 1700 miles away in Pennsylvania and had to find a contractor right away. First I hired a man that was well known in the area and was called often in the retirement community that my uncle lives in. The man was highly recommended by my uncle's neighbor. Unfortunately, this contractor took advantage of the fact that I was so far away and could not verify his work and I fired him after $24,000 of non-performed work and for telling me that certain work needed to be performed that did not need it at all. I did a Home Advisor search and was contacted by Jammie from Sky-Lan. She came out immediately and did a thorough (35 page) estimate on what the home needed. Sky-Lan came in at roughly $25,000 under the next lowest bid on the work that needed to be done. I hired Jammie and she and her partner Skylur and their team began working immediately. Skylan was incredibly thorough, timely, and professional. They remediated ALL of the smoke and soot that was present in the home and did an outstanding job reconstructing the home. Not only did they accomplish everything that they promised to do, but, they went far above and beyond that. Jammie, even stocked the refrigerator with goodies for my uncle upon his return back home. She and Skylur also informed me that my uncle's bedroom furniture need to be replaced and they agreed to let me have it delivered to them so that they could assemble it and move it in for him. On top of all of that, Jammie and her team completely cleaned the entire home before and after. This included washing every single article of clothing, bed sheets, towels, (etc. and all of the upholstery in the home. They even cleaned the oven which (after my last visit) I could not get clean ... I don't know how they did it. Folks, you will be hard pressed to find people out there like Jammie and Skylur. They truly do care about their customers and they go the extra mile to make sure that they have done everything in their power to accomplish what they promise. If you live in a Del-Webb community or other retirement neighborhood, I highly recommend that you contact Sky-Lan. Their work is outstanding, they won't take advantage of you, and they are the most reasonable contractors in your area. Believe me, I spent a lot of money and frustration before I finally found them. I enthusiastically give them 10 stars!"

"I am so pleased with my home improvements done by JP Construction! They replaced crumbling siding with Hardie plank and painted the exterior. They power washed our limestone and it looks like new. They basically rebuilt our exterior fireplace as much of the interior wood was rotted. They relocated our master bath window, installed a new one, and replaced our patio door with one we'd bought, all in conjunction with the siding and painting work! It was almost seamless. I got bids from 4 companies and JP was very competitive. He came out and discussed the work, educating us in the process. He explained why the damage occurred to the existing masonite, and recommended a much better solution that will prevent the problem from recurring. His estimate was very reasonable, and he was able to complete the job in a timely manner which was important to us since we are trying to sell our home. The crew, led by Alex showed up on time and worked throughout the day. They removed the damaged portions of masonite, and replaced them with hardie board pieces in a manner that you can't even see where the joints are. "THE WHOLE JOB WAS AMAZING!! THANKS!! We had been wanting to get new windows for years, but the prices were ridiculous. Then Rick called, we agreed to let him come out and give us a price. We were skeptical when he quoted us a price, we had to ask twice about it being the full cost. We have a log home so the main thing was that we could keep our inside and outside trim, all the other companies said it would have to be replaced with their product. And again, the price was so much less than any of the others we had priced. Then came the installation, the crew he sent out was amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. With a log home things are a little different and they made sure that everything was just right. Everything cleaned up when the left. The real test came this winter, with our old windows wind came in all around them. No problem this winter no wind, nice and cozy. "
