"We wanted to remodel our newly purchased condo but didn't think we'd be able to afford all the projects we had in mind because of the limitations of our budget. A couple of local contractors in Gulf Shores had estimated a minimum cost of $40,000. We contacted Help-Around-the-House based on favorable Angie's List reviews and found that they more than live up to their great reputation. Dan Parks and his team worked closely with us from start to finish, not only helping us to stay within our budget but also coming up with ideas that were better than what we originally had in mind. All of the work was of high quality, yet it was done amazing fast. We couldn't be more satisfied with the final result. "Louis came to our Pensacola vacation home and provided design and landscaping plans. He's very creative, can visualize the finished product and is talented at selling his ideas to the homeowner. He produced a project plan under budget but overran by 20% due to yard infrastructure (sprinkler and well pump system). His team made a big mistake uprooting some plants that we agreed would stay and he replaced them without any issue.
