"I am satisfied with their service. they were always reachable and got the job done quickly. They were not the cheapest, but I think their service may be superior to the others I was in touch with. originally was supposed to have the job done by another co. because they came in with a lower bid but unfortunately did not deliver on time. So I switched to ECO and they took care of it. the only problem we had was a miscommunication on what was included in the bid. I believed replacing the subfloor was included. so as a customer I think it's important to get as much detail as u can bc we don't understand the lingo. in the end it went ok as they gave me a good price to add the subfloor. <br />"

"Dave was great to work with. He came to first appointment timely and provided estimate on the spot. He started work when promised. The workers were all professional. I was comfortable leaving them in my yard all day while I was at work. He secured the yard each day before leaving. They completed the job when promised. Our backyard went through a huge transformation thanks to Dave. I would highly recommend Custom Concrete. <br />"

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"

"It was a task that required them to be innovative and creative.  In spite of the lawyers of tile and cement, and the random HOLE that went all they way through, they never ventured from the estimate.  They were punctual, hard working, and very enjoyable."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Chalmette, LA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
