"Punctual, extremely friendly, expedient and fairly priced. My home and out buildings needed a few repairs as well as painting. Gustavo and his team completed the repairs efficiently and worked through the heat and weekend to finish my project. I have received many compliments on my home. I would highly recommend them."

"From start to finish, HB Remodeling was professional. Hector Borges, the owner, explained to me what was needed to repair cracks in the stucco and to paint the house. He kept me informed throughout the project and employed a skilled team to do the work. They were experts at what they were doing and the outcome is a house that will withstand New Mexico's blistering sun, and that looks outstanding. I highly recommend HB Remodeling, who has already been approached by neighbors and friends for consultations and completion of home repairs."

"Last month, I searched for a painter who could lift the heaviness of our home’s current color and replace it with something bright, beautiful, and inviting. From the moment I reached out to E&R Painting and spoke with Larry, I sensed we’d found the perfect person for this transformation. Larry and his team were consummate professionals—always punctual, on schedule, and wonderfully flexible with changes along the way. Their deep expertise and “tribal wisdom” in the painting world truly set them apart from other companies. I’m especially grateful to Larry for his humility, dedication, and thoughtful suggestions. His team went above and beyond for our family, and thanks to their mastery, our home now radiates abundant light and joy. We’ll always be thankful for the beauty and warmth they brought into our lives."

"Painter was prompt and professional. He listened to what I felt needed painting and pointed out other important items I had forgotten. He took his time and did a very good job. Very happy with the end results. "

"When I talk to the owner he told me that the paint job will be $1,000.00. In any moment he told me that was a basic paint job. First I will ask him what that mean because he never explain to me the difference in between the jobs. Then I talk to his painter that he said he has 35 years experience painting cars. Let me tell you, the job that was done on my car was bad and when I complain they took the car and did a very bad job. They spray my new rims and scratched the Head Light. I do not recommend this place."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Chaparral, NM

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
