We contacted the installer, National Design Mart of Medina and discovered they don't seal their granite. That's when we called Smith Metal & Marble Restoration. Stuart Smith did the estimate and the service. He is experienced, knowledgeable, courteous, and a true professional. Stuart repaired the chip so that it is undistinguishable, polished the granite, and sealed it. The counters looked immediately new like they should have looked all along. He also caulked our under mount sink to prevent water from seeping under the granite. We highly recommend Smith Metal & Marble Restoration. Don't bother looking anywhere else!"

"We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!"

"We found Michael on Angie's List and had him come to our house for a consultation. We described the new cabinets we wanted and the remodeling and customization of existing cabinets. We were very pleased with his expertise and design during the consultation and were very excited to work with him. We are so happy with his craftsmanship, design, responsiveness and professionalism. <br> <br>The brand new custom cabinets he created look beautiful next to our existing cabinets. The detail is incredible and he found hardware and granite counter tops that match the granite and hardware on our other cabinets so well that no one has noticed they were installed 7 years apart. We have an oversize cabinet that housed two wine fridges. Michael converted them into six pull out drawers that turned out just as we had imagined. The custom doors he built on that cabinet blend so well with the other pre-existing cabinet doors on the adjacent cabinets. It's hard to describe all the attention to details and small design nuances that he considered. His experience really showed during the consultation as well as the execution of our cabinets and he made sure the final product was a beautiful addition to our space that blended seamlessly with our existing cabinets. He made additional improvements to the existing cabinets including new shelves and new toekicks.  <br> <br>He also created a beautiful custom frame for house numbers for our front porch. I purchased tile house numbers abroad and was unable to find a frame that fit the intricately decorated tiles without having to cut them. Michael again created something beautiful that we love having at our home. We look forward to working with him on future projects in other areas of our home."

"Our beautiful granite counters really look good with the sealer on them, they feel exceptionally smooth, easy to clean them now. The tile sealer in the bath and laundry rooms was worth the money. The grout will stay looking good, the color is protected and water wear and tear is no longer a concern. The water rolls off the shower doors, so much easier to clean, soap does not stick / scum up. <br /> <br /> The next service we are calling Kris for is our toilets. They will be much much easier to clean once they are sealed. We all know if we could make cleaning toilets easier we should. We highly recommend Kris and HydoSheild. You will not find a nicer guy and he is very professional, looked good and was very knowledgeable. If you have granite, tile, or glass shower doors, everyone has toilets, you should call Kris and get the HydoSheild service!"

"The job went amazingly smoothly and quickly, and less expensively than I'd expected. <br /> When I went to the Bella Stone shop, I was first impressed by being immediately greeted and escorted in through the back of the shop, where I was able to see the real down-to-earth "working area," kind of like one is impressed by being able to see the kitchen in a restaurant. I was introduced to Brian, whom I was told was their "color expert." He took my tile samples and my photos of the kitchen, near where the windowsill would be, and almost immediately found a remnant of granite out in their yard that was the perfect color for the locale.   <br /> I was told that all of the work would be completed within a week, which astounded me... Carl was at the house within 2 days to do detailed site measurements. Jeremy, the foreman, was here yesterday (5 days after first date of contact) and today (arrived very promptly, as scheduled, both days), and carefully fitted the granite into a rather difficult spot (since he was working with an existing window and existing wood trim). He made almost no mess in my kitchen, and cleaned every bit of it up. He was also very good about giving me follow-up care instructions for the stone, before he left. <br /> The sill is stunningly gorgeous, and my only regret is that I did not do it sooner. I would very highly recommend Bella Stone for custom granite work. I particularly appreciated the fact that they gave my small job just as much attention and respect as they must give their much larger jobs! <br />"

"As part of a bathroom make-over and after finally deciding to go w/ natural stone, visited the Firenza Stone shop and found a huge selection of "remnant" materials, which were perfect for making a small countertop ... picked through all and found a piece we loved, but a specific section of the piece, not at either end ... Tony asked us to show him the section, he said no problem and marked it off ... and, again because of the small size of the vanity we had, sinks were limited, but Tony showed us a nice porcelain undermount, that would work perfectly, and we added that to the list ... about one week later, the crew showed up ... the only hiccup being they came about 2 hours early, without notice ... not a big deal, as we were there and in the process of removing the existing unit, but just a little more hectic ... install went smoothly, and it looks great. <br />"

"We had an excellent experience with Landmark. Debbie Ternai is the sales manager there and she is knowledgable and excellent in her field. She is a dynamic person with a good eye for design and makes the process of granite selection fun. We interviewed several other competitors, such as Stoneworks and Acme-Arsena, and they had very little individualized customer service compared to Landmark. Debbie went with us to countless granite warehouses with our cabinet door in hand to match colors and even contacted warehouses out of the area to get us the granite we wanted. She was a very good listener and knew very quickly what we were looking for and wanted to achieve in our house. Other granite houses say, "Go to Mont or UGM and tag a piece of stone and we'll get a price for you." Some didn't even follow through on calling us back with pricing. The fabrication and installation team at Landmark was excellent and definitely knew what they were doing. They had to carve out a hole for our cooktop on site and modify backsplashes in the field, with no mistakes. We had a very pleasant experience with every one of Landmark's staff members and would definitely recommend Landmark's services to others looking to replace countertops in their home."

"Professional and quality work at a fair price! Working with Jeff and his team at Lost Pond Construction was a great experience. Jeff took time to learn our style and understand our situation. We hired Lost Pond to make improvements to our master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and refinish our hard wood floors all while our family was preparing to move back to the United States from overseas. Jeff went out of his way to coordinate with our extended family for home access until we moved back. Putting in hours over the holiday's, his team was able to finish the project ahead of schedule.
