"My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. Iâ ll admit, my husband and I can sometimes be difficult people to please-But wow!! They really knocked it out of the park for us! 7th Stateâ s precision and talent is unmatched. You are truly working with people that know what they are doing and they are the best at what they are doing. Communication from start to finish was consistent and open. They were very patient with our ideas and they added to our vision in ways we didnâ t think was possible. The whole crew was professional and extremely hardworking. "They guarantee that you’ll never have a wet basement as long as the property is there.  There are very few companies that will guarantee their work like this.  It was easy to schedule the service and they had lots of options for appointments.  They had a crew of 5-6 and they did the job within the timeframe and priced as stated.  There was an issue with the battery beeping, but that was handled with a phone call and they were prompt in fixing that.  The job was very labor-intensive and they were very professional.  I would recommend them highly."

"Before hiring LevelLift, I contacted a friend of mine who owns a Structural Engineering firm, but only work commercial not residential.  So after receiving at least (5) estimates, we agreed that LevelLift was the company to hire.    <br /> Met with Paul Mauer of Levelift Systems, he was very nice, patient and professional along with his team.  Received a proposal for the work noted below: <br /> The work in the basement  included but not limited too grout beneath concrete, excavate & installed timber walls, <br /> raise window well & installed standard home-improvement store grade cover, raise grade, furnished & installed discharge pipes for down spouts, installed seven steel beams, new interior drainage, repaired damaged mortar joints, installed 12" high cast-in-place concrete curb between steel beams and they took care of all the Montgomery County permits and inspections.  In addition, mobilization, site preparation and  furnished & installed discharge pipe for sump pump. <br /> In addition, Paul recommended a very good Structural Engineer to take care of the structural drawings. <br /> The contract payment terms were broken down into four payments with the option of using major credit cards and we have a ten (10) year warranty. <br /> Paul and his team were very responsive, punctual, and professional and the quality of the work was excellent.  We have not had any problems in the basement since 2013.  They are highly recommended. "Great company! Archer Contractors previously solved a difficult drainage problem and foundation leak so we called them back again. We had foundation problems and needed a new basement stairwell. The old stairwell was unusable, and basement walls were bowing. They proposed a new basement stairwell, a drainage system and foundation repairs. What really stands out with Archer is the quality of engineering and workmanship they put into their projects. Everything heavily reinforced and looked like industrial quality. Attention was tops. Pleasant crew left things neat start to finish. They even installed a new entry door and frame. The structural repairs have eased our concerns about the foundation. Several storms later and the drain functions perfectly, with not a drop of water in our home."

"I noticed a crack in our foundation in my yearly walk-around of the house that we'd just purchased last year. I'd also noticed some sticking doors and cracked edges around the window frames. These things combined made me concerned we had an issue with our foundation. I called Apex and they set up an appointment within 2 days. They called the day before to confirm and gave me a call the day of to let me know Lou, the general manager was on his way. In my college days I did some basic contracting work for a few years and I've worked under a number of different types of contracting professionals. In my experience I can say without hesitation that Lou is the real deal. 3rd generation, super excited about his business, honest, knowledgeable about all aspects of support structures, waterproofing and construction. He toured my townhouse with me for a little under an hour explaining what I was seeing. The crack was a minor concern but something I could repair myself. He told me to keep an eye on the crack after repairing it. He walked around in our basement and took his time explaining how the home was constructed and what was causing the issues I was seeing. He also took his time explaining that if we did have a foundation issue what he and his team would do to repair it. . Essentially the problem was poor installation during renovation and that there weren't any issues that would warrant him coming out. I offered to pay him to for coming out but he refused saying he was happy to come out and that an honest review of his inspection would be enough. If I did need Lou's services for anything related to construction, waterproofing, or structural repair, I'd hire him without any reservations. Jesse Riley"

"I did a competition on replacing our basement door, reviewing both the solution for a Signet Door and including price installed. After reviewing several solutions from several top rated companies, we decided that On the Level Contracting (OTL) (Peter Psihas) had the best solution for the outside trim with a 12 9/16” Frame Depth. I than went to the 3 lowest bidders (including OTL) with the final configuration to ensure everyone was bidding on the same configuration. After receiving the 3 final bids from top rated companies, OTL had the lowest price. After Peter ordered the door from ProVia, Peter provided me the estimated date he would be receiving the door from Provia. When the door was received Peter notified me and worked with me to schedule the installation date based upon our availability. The installation team from OTL arrived in the schedule time, verified they had the correct door prior to starting the work and did an excellent job installing the replacement door. Peter can to our house prior to the job being completed to ensure I was satisfied and went over the warranty information. Prior to signing the final contract, I talked to Peter about providing the Aluminum and replacing the Aluminum Capping to the side of the garage door that was dented. Peter and his father (George) replaced the capping matching the bends exactly to the top and the other side. I highly recommend using OTL.!!!"
