"The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again."

"I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. "Pat and his team were, by and large, fantastic. They executed on all aspects of the original quote flawlessly. The ribbon pointing around the stonework, especially in the front part of the house, turned out very nice. We're extremely happy with how the masonry looks. It went so smoothly, we added additional work onto the quote to seal the concrete and touch up paint along the exterior of the house. The painting wasn't as neat or clean as it could have been - it's probably a little step above what I could have done. Mostly importantly, when we encountered a couple of problems along the way, they were responsive and went above and beyond to sort it out. I think they approached the whole project very well, and even worked with us on the price for the add-ons. All-in-all, super solid work from a super solid contractor. Highly recommended."
