"Doug did a little bit of everything in the concrete and mason services for us.  He poured, repaired and built new.  Everything was done with high professionalism and quality.  The biggest project was our patio steps which were dangerous and out dated.  He cut out a new line in the raised patio and built new brick steps to better fit the flow of the back yard.  The new steps look great and are much safer.  He had to remove a lot of concrete and dirt and then rebuild so this was a big project.  His team works hard and are very professional.  I would use Doug again!

"We've worked with a lot of contractors. Outdoor Artisan is the best we've ever worked with. First off, we interviewed many companies for this project. We were amazed at how many didn't show, promised quotes and didn't deliver, had no ideas and asked us to come up with a plan, or were completely overpriced for unimaginative or cookie cutter ideas. We wanted something that was unique, well made, and beautiful. From the outset, it was a pleasure to talk to the owner's wife, Tracey, who was kind, courteous, and responsive. Clive, the owner, came out and listened to our ideas and asked us some critical questions about how we wanted to use our patio. He was extremely thoughtful and didn't rush through the design process. The design he created was absolutely what we wanted and it wasn't "over the top" - or too much for the size and style of our home. They communicated with us every step of the way, from when they were going to first arrive, all the way through final punch list items. The workers were polite and clean. When they finished for the day, everything was washed down, swept up and put away. When we wanted to upgrade some pavers during installation, Clive and his right hand man, Jason, were very helpful with the selection and made adjustments to their orders and schedules to get it done. When they started to lay stone and the color/design didn't work, they didn't just keep going and complete it in a way that we didn't like. They stopped and told us that they didn't like it, we agreed, and changed the color and design. We are so used to contractors that do not do what they say they will do. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who actually cares about their commitments and reputation. Everyone who has seen our patio has been blown away. It is a work of art and a joy to just sit and look at. It has been two years since installation and we have had no problems. Gorgeous in every way. We are now moving. The patio was a huge selling point and allowed us to get a lot more money for our home than other comps in our neighborhood. "The job went extremely well. They were ready to get started almost before I was prepared for them to be there! (I delayed them so I could have Gutter Guardian remove my gutter system before painting.) On the day they began, they discussed with me the cost of replacing my siding with hardi-plank as opposed to just re-painting the existing cedar, so I knew in advance exactly what the cost would be. They had a large crew on the job and were finished before I could blink, in about 2 & 1/2 days! I found that a little paint had seeped through to the inside of my windows, but when I pointed it out, the crew immediately cleaned it up and checked all the remaining windows. The crew cleaned up well every night before leaving and were very professional. I appreciated being able to use a credit card for payment. I couldn't have been happier!"
