"You may be reading this because hiring contractors to do work you know little about is a bit anxiety provoking and can result in some unpleasant results. Even though I have a background in engineering and construction, I moved forward with vinyl siding my home with some trepidation. My wife and I did some research and through a friend’s recommendation hired RJ Scalzi and Sons. The work scope included replacing fascia boards, rake boards, gutters, shutters and downspouts and installing vinyl siding. Through every step of the project, they took measures to minimize inconveniencing us, including location of work vehicles and work benches, preventing damage to lawn, shrubs and trees, securing artwork on walls and shelves to prevent damage, communicating updates on schedule and timelines and maintaining a neat work area. Not only did it appear that Jason and Matt were talented, but it was also obvious that they have honed an extremely efficient team that executes work safely, quickly and with the highest quality. Two minor unexpected and out of work scope problems arose during the project that instead of dropping on my lap, as they rightfully could have, they took action and got resolved. Over the days Jason and Matt worked on our home, we were constantly impressed with the quality and efficiency of their work. A major plus was the professional, considerate and friendly demeanor both young men exhibited throughout the project. "I contacted NMTI-GC to help me figure out the best way to replace the old tar roof on my concrete block garage. My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. I was getting eye-popping quotes and contractors who were all over the place with the scope of the project. I reached out to NMTI-GC on a recommendation from a local Facebook group.
