"I contacted E&D Fencing in mid-June 2021 and I heard back from Elcio within a day, and he was able to come by a day later.  During the visit to our backyard, Elcio listened to my ideas for a white PVC picket fence, took measurements, and explained how he is different from other fence companies: he emphasized that his estimate for when he could install the fence would be accurate, as he keeps inventory on hand, as opposed to some other companies that do not, which allows him to give accurate ETAs for installation, and to be able to install quicker than other vendors.   I emailed a total of about 8 fencing companies in the area, and about 6 got back to me, with about 4 coming to visit and later give a quote.  One was almost twice E&D's quote, and one was about 25% cheaper but they didn't have inventory on hand so would have me wait 3 months or more.  And I was impressed with Elcio's professionalism and his explanation of how his company works, so we went with E&D.  Once we paid a deposit of 50% of the quoted cost, he was able to reserve our materials and schedule us. Although he was already very booked up for the summer, he was able to fit us in about 4 weeks out, depending on the weather.  He was able to complete the install around that timeframe, and it was all done in one day by a crew of about 5, including some senior crew members who had decades of fence installation experience.  They carefully dug down about 2ft per post, using shovels, and were careful to avoid septic and irrigation lines.  They also followed my installation layout/design quite well.   I highly recommend Elcio's E&D Fencing if you need a high-quality fence installed.   -Will Acton, MA"

"This company was professional, punctual, very friendly and put in a high quality fence. The fence has withstood a New England winter, without any metal hardware rusting or loosening up in the ground come springtime. Every worker was friendly, accommodating for all of our questions and needs, and even moved up our fence installation in order to have it finished before a housewarming party we were hosting outside! They put up a quality fence with about 190 feet of PVC privacy vinyl and 70 feet of black chain link in 1 day. The best part about this company besides their friendly demeanor was the price! "Jake came in twice to meet with me to measure the length of the project and to provide me with quotes. He was always polite and professional and responded quickly to any online inquiries. Their price was similar to other quotes I got but after adding a second gate to the project and Hulme Fence honoring the 5% off Angie's List coupon I felt like I got a decent deal. They gave me a call on 08/26/2015 and we scheduled the installation for 09/01/2015. On that day a crew of two installers stopped by and installed the fence in one day. I had to point out few issues like spacing between the gate door and the gate posts but overall they did a good job of following the grade of our yard. I contacted the company on 09/09/2015 to point out few issues with the gates and few missing u-channels and the company owner stopped by on 09/12/2015 to inspect the fence. He installed bigger screws on both latches and after measuring one of the gates he said he will come back with a new gate because the one that was installed was crooked.
