The first day 3 people came to remove the old gutters and replace the trim. They worked from 8am to 6pm. The second day the gutter installers came. Both teams worked effeciently and I am happy with the results. People came when they said they would, sent a reminder that the work crews were coming and sent a quality assurance person to check the work performed."

"You may be reading this because hiring contractors to do work you know little about is a bit anxiety provoking and can result in some unpleasant results. Even though I have a background in engineering and construction, I moved forward with vinyl siding my home with some trepidation. My wife and I did some research and through a friend’s recommendation hired RJ Scalzi and Sons. The work scope included replacing fascia boards, rake boards, gutters, shutters and downspouts and installing vinyl siding. Jason and Matt showed up on time, and it very soon became clear that they were extremely skilled at their craft. Through every step of the project, they took measures to minimize inconveniencing us, including location of work vehicles and work benches, preventing damage to lawn, shrubs and trees, securing artwork on walls and shelves to prevent damage, communicating updates on schedule and timelines and maintaining a neat work area. Not only did it appear that Jason and Matt were talented, but it was also obvious that they have honed an extremely efficient team that executes work safely, quickly and with the highest quality. Two minor unexpected and out of work scope problems arose during the project that instead of dropping on my lap, as they rightfully could have, they took action and got resolved. Over the days Jason and Matt worked on our home, we were constantly impressed with the quality and efficiency of their work. A major plus was the professional, considerate and friendly demeanor both young men exhibited throughout the project. We enjoyed listening to their good natured banter, that didn’t slow them down one bit, and interacting with them. The completed project looks great and met all of our requirements, a neighbor even stopped by and asked for an estimate. Jason and Matt’s ability to combine high quality efficient work with very winning personal ways made the vinyl siding of our house a great experience and this may sound strange, but it was fun to have them around. "I couldn t have asked for a better experience! Marcelo was professional, communicated what needed to be done and provided a very reasonable quote. They replaced them full trim on two 2nd floor windows and the corresponding rows of clapboard siding. They added insulation (no wonder that room was so cold before!) and even painted the clapboards so they look seamless with the rest of the house! They cleaned up after themselves and took away all the debris. Marcelo even secured a loose gutter he noticed! I m adding Marcelo / PR Painting to my speed dial!"

"I hired Bob to install a new induction range, replacing a cooktop and cutting some of the stone countertop. He also replaced the existing hood vent with an over-the-range microwave. He was very knowledgeable and was able to do all of the work involved by himself. (Two other people that I spoke with could only do one part of the work and had no idea who could help me with the other parts.) Bob knew exactly what needed to be done and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. He worked with us to figure out how to make it look like everything had originally been installed that way. He showed up on the days he promised and let us know when he was running late (he was only 15 minutes late). "I contacted NMTI-GC to help me figure out the best way to replace the old tar roof on my concrete block garage. My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the speed, quality, and thoroughness that Leo’s team worked through the project. The team is mostly non English speaking, but very courteous and clean. I have a 2 yr old son, so the fact that they cleaned up thoroughly every day was very important to us.
