The fence has withstood a New England winter, without any metal hardware rusting or loosening up in the ground come springtime. Every worker was friendly, accommodating for all of our questions and needs, and even moved up our fence installation in order to have it finished before a housewarming party we were hosting outside! They put up a quality fence with about 190 feet of PVC privacy vinyl and 70 feet of black chain link in 1 day. The best part about this company besides their friendly demeanor was the price! "We had a 20 yr old 4 ' high cedar fence that we needed replace w/ a fence 2' higher. We were dead set on getting another cedar fence. After going over the price and availability of cedar vs. vinyl, we decided to go w/ the vinyl. Colonial's vinyl fencing is not shiny and plastic looking like other companies and we were able to get a design that we love! From the day I went into the showroom, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. They came out quickly to do an estimate & answered all questions. The scheduling was a little up in the air due to all the rain we had been getting this spring. However, they were very good at keeping me updated with this. It took 2 days to remove & install the new fence. At the end of day 1, the crew made sure the yard was securely enclosed so that we could let our 3 dogs runs free in the yard. "Incredibly well. I had been reaching out to McDonough Fence for over a year to request a quote to fix our fence (it had detached due to erosion over time), however, after repeated calls and finally speaking with the sales rep who conveyed disinterest in assisting (he happened to mention that he went to the property back in October, however, I was never updated that he had stopped by). He further mentioned that he didn't see an issue with having to fix it....I mentioned it was being held together with a bungee cord. I called Ideal Fence and left a message. Within an hour, Mark Nilan called and said he would stop by and take a look at both the stockade fence and the chain link which also needed to be re-aligned. Within a day, I had a call back, Mark sent over a quote and the guys were out there fixing the fences by the end of the week. The work was beautifully done. It was such a relief not having to continue to follow-up with emails, calls, etc. I wish I had reached out sooner to Mark and his team. Mark and the team also replaced the wiring on the chain link fence and painted the areas that were scraped over time."
