"Big frog electric was awesome. Showed up on the early side of their arrival window and got straight to work. Diagnosed and replaced a faulty dryer outlet, installed a new double outlet and replaced a vanity light in a bathroom. Very happy with their services."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Lebarious came out to give us an estimate for the job. He got the job after agreeing to match the estimate of another provider. He was both professional and personable as well as really thorough with his work. He had to stay long after the install to address one of the breakers that was kept tripping. We will definitely hire him (Britebox Electrical Services) should we need any electrical and/or a plumbing work done in the future.."

"James and his team rewired my lakehouse that was built in the late 1950s. They were very professional. Showed up when they said they would, were careful to only open walls where needed, and cleaned up every day. James problem-solved some very interesting challenges in our old house. His price was reasonable and customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend Big Frog Electric!!!! Kelly"

We have used him for multiple jobs at multiple locations on everything from changing simple light fixtures to wiring our new construction home from start to finish(wiring outlets, switches, and the breaker panel). "The electrician came out and was going to install a cheaper whole house surge protector that we originally requested.  He went through the benefits and energy savings you could acquire by installing the KVAR surge protector even though it cost more.  He did not have any available on his truck so we rescheduled for them to come out to perform the work.  They were very knowledgeable and helped us make the right decision for our current needs.  I will definitely call them for any future electrical needs I have for my home.

"I was given an fan (that I LOVE) from a friend and when my husband went to install it he could not get the lights working (he can usually do it all) so we called an electrician out and he couldn't get them working either. At this point i figured we were given a broken fan... Instead of giving up (because i loved THIS specific fan) gave it 1 more try. Andrew came out and got the light working in under 30 mins! (And that's including time spent talking and reviewing the fan and components!) I was so beyond excited! Not only did he get the job done, Andrew was respectful if our home and children, and his pricing was more than fair! I will never use another electrician again. Thank you again for your help! Its the little things in life!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Chestnut-mountain, GA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
