"It went great. They had to run electricity for new wall switches and venting through an upstairs closet and out the roof. They showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. They updated us with progress as they went along. I was concerned about new carpeting getting messed up going up and down stairs. However they laid drop clothes everywhere they walked and cleaned everything up before they left. You'd never know anyone was doing work in here. The fan and light work great. Carefully removed the old shingles, put down a rubber membrane snow and ice barrier and then put down new shingles. So far problem seems to have been resolved.
