"We needed repairs to our flat roof because of leaking through our fireplace and improper installation by the original builder. Angelo was very responsive and patient with our many questions and sent plenty of pictures of the problem areas with his estimate. Though his estimate was a bit higher than others we got, he suggested some additional safeguards and offered a longer warranty, which is why we hired him. The two workers who did the work were timely and professional and shared numerous photos of the work in progress. We won't know about the quality of the work until we have a big rain but so far so good."

Tearing off multiple layers of old, crumbling roof 2. Installing new insulation and granulated roofing 3. Spot repairing brickwork around the chimneys and edges 4. Spot tuckpointing the front limestone of the building 5. Cleaning the property afterwards The job was done in a total of 4 days, 2 for the tear off and re-roofing and 2 for the masonry/tuckpointing work. I was very impressed by how quickly they were able to get this done given the severity of the issues and the difficulty of the project. We had hired another guy two weeks prior who used corrosive material on the flat roof membrane causing horrific leaks in the house. Phil was thorough in explaining the issues and what needed to be done. "I just had Berg install a new roof and gutters on my home. From the beginning, Nick was very friendly, professional, and extremely responsive. He made the whole thing a lot less stressful than it could have been. They even fixed a couple of things that technically weren't part of the roof and gutters. My house looks great! "The Owner was excellent at communicating with me. He went above and beyond in cleaning my gutters and also checking out the roof on my garage. The work performed was overpriced. The work was completed in under 45 minutes. What did they do for $1,400? They replaced rusty nails with new nails. The area of the shingles where my roof was leaking through ceiling was sealed. There was no replacement of plywood or shingles. The Owner (Steve) said it was not necessary. He showed me pictures of the work they performed. In addition, the bottom of the roof vents and chimney were sealed. The work they performed was worth about $800 to $900. I was charged $1,400 -- the Owner gave me a 2 year warranty on his work. It has rained in Chicago since my roof was repaired, and so far, so good. I appreciated all the work they did. They did an excellent job, but for the work that was completed, I thought the price point was a bit inflated."
