He responded quickly to emails, got me my quote within 48 hours, and did the work to the point and degree that it was as though they were doing it for their own family. "Went well initially. The technician had his son working with him, however assured me that he would be the one inside making sure that things went well. I asked if I needed to cover anything and again, he assured me that there was no need as he would be using a shop vacuum to suck up soot and particles being directed downward from top of chimney. His son at some point was the one inside using the shop vac to suck up the debris. All went well until he wrapped up the vac. He accidentally let the coil of the vacuum touch the arm of the sofa and the side of the ottoman leaving black soot on both pieces which were brand new. I showed his father when he came in and he was visibly upset that this happened. His son apologized emphatically as he felt bad about what had happened. His dad initially said I could use soap and water to clean it up, but I told him that I expect compensation for any cleaning done by professional as it was spot on both pieces. He took pics and sent them to Nick the owner. I took my own pics and emailed, as well as called to resolve the issue. I was called back immediately and spoke to Nick who apologized and assured me that I would be compensated for any professional cleaning of my furniture. After I had my pieces cleaned, the company I used sent Nick the receipt for services rendered and I had a check in the mail less than a week later. Other than this little mishap, I would highly recommend Nicks Chimney Service because of the professionalism and expedited resolution when I had a problem."

"Blue Hills roofing is the ONLY Platinum Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning in the Eau Claire, WI  area & was recommended by the Owens Corning regional representative to CHECK the work/errors of the original installer & to verify the warranty conditions were followed by the original contractor. Sorry to say that the original contractor I picked was only a Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning & made numerous quality errors that resulted in leaks!
My original plea for help was immediatelly answered by Blue Hills Roofing & an appointment to check my roof was performed by Anthony in quick order. After showing Anthony my roof issues, they promptly provided an estimate for the rework needed to correct the errors of the original roofer. The date they provided for the rework was very satisfactory and they were prompt & professional & met the projected dates. Oh..and now is the first time since August 2014 that my roof is not leaking!!
They provided photographic evidence of the errors the original contractor's team had made and provided a detailed written report listing all the errors they uncovered as they repaired my roof. The original roofing contractor failed to detect a rotted deck board and put ice guard over a hole the size of an orange in my roof along with numerous nail punctures.
The install team &  staff of Blue Hills Roofing gave confidence for my wife & I that our roof was CORRECTED to the standards that Owening Cornings requires to meet their warranty requirements.
One of my previous lives was as a Quality Professional at Mayo Clinic & I was plesantly surprised when I was called by the owner/president of Blue Hills Roofing to provide feedback on the work his company had done. In the Quality trade this is called the 'Voice of The Customer'!

"Had to wait two months due to the wide area of damage and number of people who had to have roofs. Roofers were quite busy this summer. But when they did show up they worked long and hard to get it done. Men showed up at 7 and worked some days till 8pm (with our permission). Very good crew and very professional except for overhearing occasional profanity. (Never when we were talking together.) Cleaned up and finished in less than 3 days. Price was, I thought, very competitive. I had an estimate on shingles that they actually beat with metal!! Would use them again but I hope I don't have to!"
