"While the start date of getting a new roof put on slid due to weather, the G&G crew started the roof tear-off on time. They were very thorough about what needed to be repaired. I met with the project manager, Jimmy O., onsite and he explained all that needed to be done and the associated costs. The crew had the roof dried in on day 1. The shingles were delivered in the afternoon on day 2 and the crew finished installing the shingles on day 3. The roof looks great and they left the yard with very little evidence that they had been there. I would not hesitate to use G&G again. Just understand that due to the amount of work they have and wrestling with the weather, the lead time from signing the contract to job completion can be awhile (mine took about 20 weeks but as good as they are, G&G can't control the weather!). I would rather have a quality job done right and it take longer to complete than to have an interior result."

"The easiest way to say it is , they did a great job on my shingle roof. They showed up at the times they told me, no delays , they got the permits, hauled off all the old material. Cleaned up everyday. The installers were very good to deal with. Always ask if I was satisfied with what they had done each day. They lined up the inspections that had to be done on time. I can not say how nice it was to deal with a company like that. Oh by the way I was a roofing contractor before I retired! I would recommend them to anybody, and just did to my best friend! "Jan Tukker is very professional and thorough. JTI did the work as promised and on time. A couple of things to consider when re-roofing. If a dumpster is used, consider an alternate location other than the driveway depending on the age of the concrete. Cracks will happen with all the weight of the dumpster and old roofing material. Secondly, be vigilant with the cleanup. There are large amounts of nails used in the process and many reach the ground. Stepping on a roofing nail in your flower bed can t**** the whole experience. The contractor does an OK job of picking up nails, but you as the customer should search for them as we'll. <br />"

"My experience with Universal Roofing & Construction Group was very good. They are very nice people to work with. The owner and his son were on to the job quite often and whenever we pointed out a concern or a problem with their workers, they corrected it. We had few little issues regarding them covering some rotten wood, which was discovered. They came back immediately, supervised here while the job was going on, called the guys who did and corrected it. They not only placed the roof but they also did some new reconstruction and redesigned two low parts or sections of the roof. I will recommend them and tell everyone that this is one company they can use. My husband went there quite often and he just felt they were very attentive. We also had a subcontractor doing some other stuff for us and he kept an eye open too, since my husband couldn't be there during the project. There were some subcontractors who were not always here when they said they going to be. I hope we won't be using them again but if required I will use them again in the future."
