Get matched with top aluminum or steel fence installers in Churchton, MD

"Far better communication than other companies, responding within a day to any question I sent via email, txt or calls. Demonstrated respect of my property. Fence and gates they installed are excellent. I highly recommend."

"Freedom Fence and Deck will always be our go to company for any fencing needs! This was our second time using them and just like our first fence install they did not disappoint. From their super knowledgeable sales team (Brian), to their install team, and even their owners (Steve), they all played a part into why they are Maryland’s #1 Fence and Deck company. We had nearly 500 feet of fence installed (50% on a severe slope) and not only did they do an amazing job but they were able to complete everything in just two days. If you’re looking for a reliable company that ensures every project (big or small) is finished to perfection, I would highly recommend checking them out."

"The team Fence & Deck sent to install a fence in my backyard—an area measuring about 1/6th of an acre—were quick, efficient, and friendly. The first team member showed up just before 7:30 to start dismantling the old fence. By 8 AM, the rest of the team was hard at work. It was a quieter process than I thought, to be honest—which was great, as my neighbors work from home. They were finished by 2 PM; had cleaned up, packed up the old fence and their equipment and were gone. There were issues with installing the new fence: trees had grown into the fence path, most of them belonging to the neighbors. The team presented me with possible solutions at each point, so I could get the fence I wanted—or as close as was possible given the obstacles. It was a very low-stress construction day, and we—and our neighbors—really like the results."

"They quoted me a good price. They installed the fence when they said they would. No delays. I would hire them again."

"My husband and I have saved our money and weâ re finally able to afford the fence weâ ve always wanted. Going into this we were not only looking for a fair price, we were also looking for someone we felt we could trust to do a good job. Once we met with Bob, we knew, without a doubt, who we were choosing to install our new fence. Bob was full of helpful information and really made us feel at ease with everything. He was up front about possible delays getting the wood needed for the fence, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He never left us wondering what was going on because he took the time to call and keep us updated. Once Bob and his crew came, we were so impressed with how quickly they were able to install the fence, while providing top quality work. We are so happy with our new fence, and have received so many compliments. We would highly recommend their services for anyone in need!"

"Very professional. Chase is both laid back enough to feel like you've known him for years and professional enough to give realistic explanations of every aspect of installing/replacing a fence - including cost analysis, payment schedule and above all, accurate time frames for each stage of the job. Its a shame I only have one fence, because I would absolutely have him and his crew come back out again."

"There were some initial communication challenges but the guys installing the fence did an awesome job."

"I'll start this review by saying that to me, the "end result" is what counts most.  And Neale and his company produced exactly the custom look security fence I had envisioned.  This was a bit of an unusual request, because even though many people have iron bars welded over their A/C units for security, I needed two large, expensive (side by side) heat pumps protected.  Also, I felt a "security fence" would look better than just metal bars.  So here was my experience: After 1st calling and getting leaving a message with an assistant, it did take a few days but Neale called me back to set up an appointment to give an estimate.  He arrived right on time, took a look at the situation, and after a few minutes of brainstorming we were on exactly the same page in terms of design - and I liked how he sketched it out.  I also felt his quote was very reasonable (his was the 3rd estimate I had gotten).  And I don't know, there was just something about Neale, I could tell he had a *passion* for security fencing and "keeping crooks out" so to speak.  After getting my estimate in writing via email later that day, I put down my (1/3) deposit.  About a week later, after fabricating much of the fence in his shop, Neale and his team arrived and got to work fast.  I took them 2 days total, which was fine (day #1 they installed the fence posts and the concrete needed to set overnight).  Day# was most of the assembly,  welding and the paint job. Now, about 2 weeks later, I am extremely happy with the final result.  Very secure, and very sharp looking!  Even the gloss black paint job is very nice.  My neighbors have made several admiring comments over the past week also.  The only thing I could fault, if anything, would be if speed - is critical too you.Baltimore Wrought does seem like a busy company so don't be surprised if there is a week or so delay / backlog.  Also, they do prefer cash payment vs credit card.  (I did my deposit on credit card and paid the final 2/3 cash).  But  these minimal factors were not a big deal for me, because *high quality* work and to a lesser extent, total price, were all I really cared about - and these guys definitely delivered on both!

"It went great! Quality work & would definitely hire again or refer work!"

"We contracted Ben, the owner of Freestate Tree Service to remove the Silver Maple in our front yard. We used Ben because he did a fine job for us two years ago after we selected his company based on  Angie's List reviews.

The job included tree removal, stump grinding, complete chip/grindings removal, topsoil seed & straw for $1,600. The tree cutting took place in late December, 2015. I paid Ben in full (which included $150 for stump grinding and removal). This was indeed a mistake on my part thinking that he would honorably finish the job! The grinding was subcontracted and took place a couple weeks after that. As an additional service, I contracted with Ben to also split the wood for firewood (which he insisted be a separate cash only service). Even though the yard was basically trashed while he and his crew split the wood, I paid him the agreed amount of $200 for the splitting and even gave him a $50 tip! That same day, I was told by and understood that Freestate would not be responsible for the lawn damage caused from the splitting machines as this was not part of our original contract. I still wanted the grindings removed as originally contracted and paid for. Several weeks of bad weather justifiably prevented him from returning to remove the grindings. We also understood his reasons for additional delays because he was undergoing equipment maintenance. After multiple attempts to schedule with him, he simply returned unexpectedly to my house one day in April and managed to only rake all the grindings back into the stump hole. Not only did he not remove all the grindings, his equipment trashed my yard even more than than he did before! Then he emailed me that this  was my fault as, what he called me, a "misinformed homeowner" for making him come out when we did rather than wait for "the ground to freeze"?! At this point, it will cost me hundreds of $$ to rent the equipment rental needed to remove the grindings that i paid Freestate to remove and repair the damages I was left with. Not to mention that he was paid for a service he didn't provide to satisfaction. He has been ignoring the multiple emails and phone calls from both me and my wife to rectify or remedy this situation.

if you're looking for simple tree cutting, Ben's your guy. If you want them to follow through with a complete job - forget Freestate and go with somebody else. Such a shame, we wanted this to end well. Live and learn.
