"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

"I hired Chris, the owner of Latham Solution, to replace our heat pump, and the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. Chris arrived with a 3-ton heat pump, even though my home is designed for 2 tons. He did not inform us of the size change beforehand. When I questioned it, he told me it was a variable-speed unit and said, ?Trust me, it will work just fine.? By that point, parts of my HVAC system had already been dismantled, leaving me with little choice but to proceed. After installation, the system performed exactly as expected for an oversized unit: the discharge air volume was far beyond what our ductwork was designed for. This resulted in loud, noisy operation and uncomfortable cold air throughout the house. I withheld payment until the system was corrected, and eventually the unit had to be replaced with the proper 2-ton heat pump. Throughout this process, communication deteriorated into unpleasant and threatening text messages and emails, which is completely unacc"

"The company installed a boiler system & radiant heating system for our home and we called for a repair in year two of operation. The owner, who is the only person in the company qualified for more complex jobs, is either overbooked, uninterested in the business, or some combination thereof. We were told that he would be available in two weeks but that no one knows his schedule. So, we couldn't actually schedule service. He ultimately resolved the issue within a month. The following winter was much worse. The system had issues again. From the first time at which we contacted the company, we waited 8 weeks for him to show up and diagnose the issue, and 12 weeks to fix the problem. Further, the issue was a glycol leak that was (1) expensive to resolve and (2) potential evidence of shoddy work in their first set of repairs. The company's technicians are professional and qualified for routine jobs. They are very responsive. However, given the poor management and excessive reliance on one person who seems uninterested in helping, I'd never recommend this company for any work."

They initially forgot about our appointment, but came soon after we called to remind them. They were here about an hour and cleared a large clump of roots from our pipes, resolving the issue. The cost was $175, which I thought was reasonable."
