"PowerUp Electric did an extensive rewiring of my parent's 1914 home. The wiring was a real mess with a mix old and new wiring. Gabriel, Martin, and Frank were wonderful. We really appreciated their attention to every detail, their follow-up, and expertise! Prior to hiring PowerUp, we had a few other electricians come out to see what was needed, but we did not feel comfortable with their knowledge of how to extensively rewire the home. Frank came out and was very thorough in his evaluation of the current wiring and what was needed to bring the wiring up-to-date. Gabriel worked with us to give us a very competitive price and was extremely accommodating in his working with all the other contractors onsite: pluming, plaster repair, flooring, framers, etc at the same time. We felt that the whole team, Gabriel, Martin, and Frank worked well together and quickly performed all the work needed and helped us make critical decisions with regard to recommended work. At the very end, we had a very old candelabra which had sentimental value which was shorted out. Martin took the candelabra back to the shop and completely fixed it! We are very pleased with PowerUp Electric and would recommend them for any project! We certainly will hire them again if we need any further electrical work!"

Based on the 3 bids, it seemed certain we'd need a subpanel breaker box installed as our main breaker box was full and there were no empty slots to assign to the EV charger. However, only Tommy from Fairway offered up a potential solution within the existing breaker box, if they were able to source a hard to find quad breaker. It seemed unlikely, but would save a lot of hours (new box install / wiring under the house) and money. Sure enough, he source the part and made it happen. "On 9/2/2020 I met with several electricians who were not being honest with their quotes. They were taking one quick look during the estimate, then throwing numbers at me. But not Francis. He took notes with his partner and sent me the estimate that evening. Francis was very professional, honest, and did a quick clean job. He did bathroom vents, smoke detectors, upgraded my panel, and replaced a wire that a mouse chewed. I will be calling him for more projects. He is excellent! Glad I found him! *Addendum to Review I used Francis again on10/9/2020 to put up recessed lighting. He and his partner did a quick, thorough, and clean job. He removed the old fluorescent lighting and truly transformed the look. He worked with me on the types of lighting and what would work best before starting, which I appreciated. He took my choices and ideas into consideration and made this a wonderful experience. I hope to be adding more to this review soon and have already recommended him to others."

A simple request and the replacement was scheduled for replacement within a week at no charge. A request for an upgrade was also done quickly for a small charge. I highly recommend Martin!"
