He replaced tiles, removed moss from the chimney and crown, applied waterproof cement to the crown, and ground out and regrouted damaged joints - even dyeing the mortar to match. He showed me pictures of the chimney problem areas and explained how the moisture got into the chimney. He told me I didn't need a sweep. To eliminate the moisture problem he suggested I get some needed repairs, have chimney caps installed, and have water repellent applied. After receiving an estimate for the needed work I had the job scheduled."
