Within a day or so we had his bid. After signing the contract, we drove to Opelika to select appliances and then to Birmingham to select the granite. We also went to Sherwin Williams to select our paint colors. </p> <p>Holland acted as general contractor and coordinated the work among the employees and subcontractors used on the project. Everything was done professionally with almost no problems. Demo on the first day included removing the countertops and all of the appliances. We talked them into leaving the fridge for a few extra days. "Russell and Austin from Dixie Electric did a good job on this repair. Polite, courteous, and professional. Explained all the details of what they were going to do, and then did it. Luckily the fascia board was not so damaged as to need replacing. The fix was a more serious anchoring of the wire/pull knob onto the fascia board, and to move it far enough away from the roof to pass city inspection. <br /> The only minor glitch was that the crew arrived about one hour later then scheduled, and the city inspector took all afternoon to arrive. <br /> FHI: Dixie Electric worked worked with Alabama Power to get the electricity turned off/on. Alabama Power did a good job too. <br />"

"I offered 3 local, highly rated companies the opportunity to provide a quote and bid for a new roof as well as a substantial amount of repair work to the existing trim (fascia). All three responded quickly to send someone out to meet us and do the requisite inspection/measurement of the work requested, and all three representatives were professional and informative. However, Mr. Guyette was far ahead of the others in his approach, attention to detail, and willingness (determination?) to be sure we understood the details behind his approach, recommendations, and ultimately the quote itself. Though Guyette's quote was the highest of the three, it was not by a significant amount, and each company's itemization varied enough that it would be difficult to say this was an apples to apples comparison. Be that as it may, our choice was to go with Guyette, and we are very happy with that choice now that the work has been completed. The workcrew arrived as scheduled, moments before sunrise, and immediately dispersed into action. It was clear from the get go, that this team had plenty of experience working with each other, and they performed from start to finish as one very polished machine. The work was completed as planned, all in one day... and this included a last minute request (my bad) to re-roof a 12x16 barn while they were here. The roof looks great, the house surrounds (driveway/yard/patio/etc....) are cleaner that when they arrived, and though I hope not to ever need to re-roof this house, Guyette is the only choice I would make should I need it."

"The owner came out originally to survey the project; took the time to answer all of my questions; and pointed out some things needing attention that I was not previously aware of. He then gave me a quote of $300 which I gladly accepted. Following that, two members of his crew came out several different times to work on fixing the leak, and then to make sure that the leak had in fact been repaired. After that they installed the new window sill, and then painted it with the exact same trim cover as the previous sill had. They were personable and always ensured my approval of the work performed before departing. (I have attached "before" and "after" photos. The black streaks on the "after" photo are my doing.)"

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"Everything went great!  We were very satisfied with the service we received so we plan to have the team come out once a month to do cleaning.  However the monthly maintenance will not be as in depth it will get those areas we cannot due to a busy life schedule.  In fact, we did have our first monthly cleaning on 12/14 where 2 cleaning ladies came out.  They took about 1.5 hours and the house looked much better.  It was nice to have someone wash the floors and vacuum the rugs with a powerful vacuum.  The ladies were professional and kept pace to get the job done. <br />"
