I called Apex Tree Service to examine a large Sweet Gum tree in our back yard. The tree has lost some limbs over time and we were concerned that it might need to be removed. Mr. Lay was here within the time frame he said he would be. He was very nice, very professional and took the time to explain the condition of the tree. He made suggestions of what we could do to help the tree. He stated that the tree did not need to be removed at this time. He also said that all trees will lose a limb once in a while. He told us (at our request) what it would cost to remove the tree if it were necessary at present. I was very appreciative that someone did not just come out and say that the tree should be removed. I will definitely call them again when needed.

"The 3 workers arrived at 9:00 and worked continuously until12:00.  They dug up overgrown areas and cleared out weeds and debris.  They dug up and split hostas and replanted in the areas where the debris was cleared.  They also trimmed some trees and removed ivy from tree trunks.  When the areas were cleared, they spread 20 bags of mulch and cleaned up all the areas they worked on. "This is the second time I've used their services and it was exactly like the first- exceptional. I paid for a full days work and received a discount for using them a second time. I received the estimate on the 25th and they were able to come on the 26th.
This company is very good at taking down tough trees without bringing in cranes, etc. and cleaning up after the fact. There was probably 3 inches of sawdust on everything right after the trees came down; and once they finished up, you didn't see but a speck of sawdust. I'll definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
