"Very well. The subcontractor who repaired things before the painting was very thorough. The painters asked for clarification at questionable places before painting. All the edges looked really sharp. I am very happy with the workers and their work.$"

"Brooks Painting painted a lot of the interior of our new house and we couldn't be happier with the job. They did were willing to schedule us fairly quickly (a few weeks out) so that they could get the painting done before we started moving in. They were responsive and the quality of their work was fantastic - no paint on the carpets and floors, and everything was very neat. I would highly recommend them and we plan to hire them again for exterior painting in a few months."

"The initial visit for the quote went very well. The individual was specific in capturing what work we wanted done and discussed items like caulking around the stove top on the counter or not. We decided not since there was a very large gap and generally those are made to be removed, This was also the advice of the Grout Medic representative. Unfortunately the technician who performed the work at the appointment wasn't as detail oriented. The caulk around the shower had gaps which I brought to his attention and he fixed. No issues with that. Although he explained that it was difficult to get tight caulk lines and the same quality that was originally put in place when the house was built, interesting opinion. Ultimately, I was fine with the experience so far. I had to leave while the technician was working on the kitchen, leaving my wife and in-laws at the house. This was unfortunate because I would have called out the numerous problems at that point. I was also remiss in not raising these issues later with the company, this was due mainly because we were selling the house and I didn't have time to deal with the issue. Here are the problems that I had with the kitchen counter top regrout. There was excess grout left along the edge of the refrigerator, behind the stove top and around the back of the sink. Generally areas that one would not notice without close inspection. There were also spots, generally corners on the island and the back splash by the fridge where only the original grout was visible. The stove top was also caulked, I generally find this to be a problem where the original person providing the estimate verbally communicates an expectation that the technician is aware of. The join between the sink and the counter was also grouted, another item where the initial person performing the installation stated that they will use caulk instead because that area generally cracks if grout is used. The quality of the grout lines were also less than desirable, this was the least of my concerns. The attached pictures were from around the stove top and show the excess grout as well as insufficient grout. Again, an area where no grout should have been applied and was not present prior to the service."

"We had attempted to replace a cracked shower drain cover ourselves, and ended up cracking the drain pipe. Based on my initial inquiry, uncertain if there was a little fix or if it would be a big project, Teri first responded by email suggesting a band-aid fix using caulk. I was extremely grateful for the suggestion. This is one of my favorite things about SHEcan2: that Teri will talk you out of a project that shouldn't be done, or help find the affordable solution, so that in the end you are happy with the final decision. The caulk didn't work to seal the drain, so she came out right away to take a look and give us a quote. At the same time we looked at a (related) mystery leak and discussed how to investigate that at the same time. Since our budget is constrained by child-care costs, I was very grateful that Teri made suggestions for how to keep the project more affordable, while achieving all objectives. I was also impressed and grateful that she was able to immediately get us scheduled, since I know that sometimes they are booked months out. At the start of the project there were a couple delays due to another project running over and a truck dying, but otherwise the work was done in 2 days + a few hours for the second coat of mud and texturing. We are very happy with the new shower surround and faucet. I only had two complaints. The first was that the discussion of the side objective of investigating our mystery leak did not get communicated clearly to the workman, so I had to bring it up to him directly. The second was cleanup: he put a drop cloth down on part of the bedroom carpet during part of the work, but it didn't prevent paster dust from his shoes being tracked through the house, and there was significant difficult-to-clean plaster dust on the carpet and smears of plaster on the bathroom floor."

"The owner, Del Murphy came to our house and looked at everything and gave us a price. We wanted our tub/wall/countertop refinished due to hard water stains. The tile above the tub wasn't bad, but we wanted it all to look new. <br /> We also wanted the and quot;easy stepand quot; for the tub. We're trying to plan for aging in place. Thought it would be better to do it now, rather than waiting until we really need it. We have a garden tub/shower, and it's pretty deep, because of that, we had to get a custom cut. The regular cut, with the kit that fits over it, would not work with this deeper, and longer cut. <br /> I am so thrilled we had to get the custom cut! I had no idea, when I received their advertisements in the mail, that they offered a custom cut. It looks so good! The one that's pictured in their advertisments kind of sticks out from the tub. The custom designed one, flows with the shape of the tub, and looks like it's always been part of the tub. It is so nice. It's everything I hoped it would be. <br /> It took about two and a half days to complete the job. David was the name of the technician who did the work. He was on time, courteous, professional, did a great job. Originally we were going to have the cut 13and quot; deep. David spoke with us and said he thought it might be better if we only had it cut 12and quot; deep, to make sure the step itself was high enough that water from the shower would not splash out. I'm glad he thought of that. <br /> The technician was careful to vent everything out the window, so particles of what he was using went outside, and not in our home. We had him put a non slip coating on the bottom of the tub and we're very pleased with it. Everything looks great. We kept the piece that was cut out from the tub. If, down the road, we decide to sell the house, we can have it put back and refinished and it will look brand new. <br /> We've used the shower and it's very easy to step into, and with our shower curtain, no water gets on the floor. It was much less expensive to do this, than to have the tub removed and a shower put in. It was a couple of hundred dollars more for the custom cut, but it was worth it. <br /> Thanks Miracle Method and David. <br />"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Clarksburg, CA

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
