"We had the roof replaced in August. The roofing team text me the night before and arrived on time. They completed the work in one day. They did a great job cleaning up, and took care not to damage the bushes or flowers when removing the shingles. The roof looks great and we are super happy with the results. We also had a patch of siding reattached and we had a canopy in the way. They told us to contact them when we take it down for the winter and they would come fix it then. I contacted them and they responded and scheduled a time to come out and fix it. The roof was installed in August and we just got the invoice in November for the services. I am assuming it took so long since they went back and forth between our insurance. Ultimately we paid what we had agreed to pay and we are happy about that. Nathan was the contact person for this job and he stayed in contact the whole time and was very polite and professional. Overall we are happy with the results and would recommend this company to people looking for a roof replacement."

"I did not get an appointment call within the allotted time. I had to call them to get them out for the appointment. The window took a very long time to come in. Once in, I was called and things got much better. The three installers arrived on time, removed and replaced the window, cleaned up the mess and were done in 1:15 mins. Very professional and courteous. All of the questions I had. were answered completely. I am very pleased with the window and the personnel that installed the window.

"The first time I called, they came out within the window I was quoted. It was at the END of the window, but inside it nonetheless. The 2 servicemen spent 10 minutes snaking the kitchen drain, ran some water down it, and said it was clear. I paid a special advertised rate, and they left. They were polite and professional.
The problem was....they didn't properly clear the drain! The next afternoon was the first chance I had to really do dishes, and run a continuous stream of water. It was backing up again. I called back, and they could not get anyone out there that night, so I was given at 2 hour window for the next morning. That next morning, 10 minutes before the "window" expired, I called, expressing concern that I had yet to hear from anyone about an arrival. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes, and then a girl got back on the phone and said that they located a technician in my area, and he would be there in 20 minutes. Apparently, they missed adding me to anyone's schedule for the day. When the techs did arrive, one was from the previous visit, and the other was a different guy. They were polite and professional, but this time spent about 30 minutes doing a very thorough job of clearing the drain, and being sure it was clear. There was no charge for the second visit, but I also was not offered a refund or partial reimbursement for them being late, which was what I thought was part of their slogan.
All in all, not a bad job, but not great phone customer service."

"The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing
deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding. The job was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Somebody referred us to Maximus and when I called and
talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was relatively small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was that we had a concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowing water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding. We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He finished the total project today in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises.
