They were patient about timing so we could get Reston Association approval prior to work beginning. Ricky’s design incorporated the size, material, and the exact look and feel we wanted. The design allowed enough space to make the steps comfortable to use and safe, all while blending gracefully into the landscape and providing a place to garden beside the steps. They also incorporated gutter extensions below the landscaping to improve drainage. The team worked efficiently and neatly. I would definitely have Ricky’s Lawn & Landscaping back for future work."

"Their work was top-notch. They did regrading around our house as well as buried 2 drains to funnel water away from our house after we had basement flooding. Also did external waterproofing for 1 corner of the house/basement. After the work was completed we couldn't even tell how much had been done, they really incorporated everything into our existing lawn/landscaping and if anything it all looked better than what we had before! Their rates are a bit higher than others but I was much more comfortable with their knowledge/apparent quality upfront and was not disappointed."

"I contacted Cutting Edge about cleaning my flagstone patio - it needed to be washed and have polymeric sand installed in the joints. The company that had previously done it for me was no longer doing residential work. Kevin was very honest with me: he said they'd be happy to do the work but that I could probably find someone to do it for less cost. He suggested I check around with other companies. But in the meantime, he immediately emailed me an estimate. I called several other landscaping companies but they all told me they did not do this type of maintenance work. So I contacted Kevin to arrange for the work. Despite all of the bad weather we'd had, they got the job done within about 2 weeks. My patio looks brand new! Overall, the company was very responsive to me, they did a fantastic job - and I appreciate their honesty about the cost.
