"We have a half-moon window in the guest bedroom that we wanted to tint to decrease the amount of heat and sunlight that floods the room. When I first spoke to Robert, he was very cheerful and easy-going on the phone. I am pleased to say that his countenance wasn't any different in person. Robert gave us several options and answered our questions. We opted to place the darker tint without the security film as our windows are new and meets the current hurricane standard for our area. When Robert arrived at our home, he took his shoes off and placed a drop cloth on the floor to prevent any damage or staining to our carpets. He was professional, courteous and gives the impression that he cares for his customers and service that he provides. I would have given him all "A's" but he was late getting to our home. However, in fairness to him, he did call and texted to let me know that he was running behind. I would rehire Robert without hesitation. The amount we paid was less than the quote from one of the "big box chain stores". The window tinting matches the factory tint of the window below it flawlessly. We are extremely happy! B. Shiggs"

"Very well. Alex did the estimate on time and went over options and answered all my questions but supprisingly didn't go on the roof (which the others did). Westchase was the only estimate that included everything, including wood and was in the middle of the estimates I received. The dumpster and crew arrived when they said they would and took the two days they had originally estimated. Sergio came out both days and was the company representative while the work was going on. There was some questions, a skylight that had not been on the estimate as it is mostly covered by trees (they seem to use satellite images to estimate) and a small section of flat roof which was on the estimate hadn't been in the work order. The skylight Sergio asked about and offered to remove it and close the hole. I declined and they redid the flashing and resealed it. On the flat roof I pointed it out and they did re-roof it, adding a "ski slope" away from the wall to direct the water off better. At the end of the second day, after completion and clean up the lead roofer show me photos of the work, including the sections of new wood an the peel and stick under-layer, and walked around with me before the crew left. Sergio arrived a few hours later to do a final inspection, show me the pictures and finish sealing the skylight (which needed to be done from the inside. I was impressed that even with wood decking and ceder fascia replacement and the skylight, the bill was exactly what the quote was for, with no extra costs. The next day I ran in to the city of Clearwater inspector coming down off the new roof. we chatted for a few minutes and he said they looked like they had done a good job and passed, which I found reassuring. The next day it started raining hard, and continued for 3 days. No leaks (which was an improvement from the old roof). I have been very happy with the work and the cleanup and have been up on the new roof as I painted the fascia that had been replaced. Westchase also included a wind inspection who contacted me the next day to set up a time to inspect, and provided a report which I'm filing with my insurance company."

"Simply Excellent Service! I was referred to contact Brent of B. Griffith Roofing by my father-in-law who has had two roofs replaced over the years using them. My job was not your typical tear-off and replace to say the least. I had a good amount of hidden damage that was covered up by a previous owner. I needed to go with an outfit that has the experience and track record to handle this level of job. Based on my meeting with Brent and his explanation of what they would be able to do to fix what was needed prior to replacement of the roof, as well as previous family experiences, I felt this was the outfit I needed to use. I received the proposal the following day, costs were clearly stated, including any additions if needed. Once I agreed to the proposal and provided the deposit, things moved very quickly, which I really appreciated. Within a week I had a permit on my door and a crew on my roof. They were very professional, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions about the work, made sure I was happy with the finished product, and did a great job cleaning up. "From start to finish, Larry Miller Inc. was a pleasure to work with. Everyone there went above and beyond my expectations to get this work done. Larry, Franco and Frank Miller's work ethic was exceptional. They made sure to inspect the damage thoroughly and provide options to consider in their estimate. They also offered me a military discount as I am a disable veteran. Very nice people! The actual work was done by Curtis, who was very friendly and explained the work he was doing. He paid attention to every detail. He thoroughly pressure washed the roof before starting. There was wood rot from water that had gotten under the shingles because of improperly installed gutter guards. The wood was replaced, a new covering was installed and then everything was sealed. This took several days to get everything done right. He took photos along the way to show me how the work was progressing and then at the end so I could see the finished work, since I cannot get up on ladders. He even fixed an area of the roof that could have potential leaking from a pitch pan and a hole where an old TV antenna had been removed so that they would not cause water damage, even though this was not work that was planned nor included in the final price. I highly recommend this team of professionals. I will definitely call this company when I need to replace my main roof."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
