"These guys are amazing! They took the time to make sure we what we wanted done and worked with our schedule. They did the job in a timely manner and very professional. If we had any questions or concerns they addressed it immediately. There was no mess to clean up, which we’ve had every time we had work done by anyone else. Definitely our best experience and would recommend them. We’re planning another project and will definitely use them!"

"Hello, I had GrindnShine Pros mud my basement as I thought I wouldn't be able to perform this step of finishing my basement. (I had done the rest myself up to mudding). Do NOT hire this team to do mudding. I was gonna hold off on posting a review on these guys to possibly cool off and have a better mindset but I am having to sand my entire basement as they did 0 sanding. If they cared enough about your home they would cared a little more. Lots of areas need remudded and everything needs sanded prior to painting. Took 4 pictures of just two walls of the worst I could find. There are tons of other examples but this is what they call a finished product after $5600 dollars."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Clearwater, KS

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
