They were able to look at the job the same day and repair the job the next day. They found the problem and took every effort to fix what was ruined. There communication was great and they were up front about costs and repairs. The work they did looks fantastic. I could not be happier. I did not compare pricing because there are so many companies online. It gets overwhelming to search and reach out to companies. I am pleased with the service I received."

The plan to stain the door didn’t work out so he transitioned into painting the doors without fuss or muss. He worked efficiently and stayed on his time line. "The team did an excellent job from estimate to completion of the work. Others I had out to estimate the repair indicated I'd need to have the bedroom ceiling entirely redone. Laurie indicated their team specializes in repairs/matching textures in older homes, and said they could do the work without a total ceiling redo. They quickly provided a bid, and gave me a timeframe that was about 4-5 weeks out, saying they'd be in touch as we were close to the top of their list. Laurie had a reschedule, and asked if I would like to get on the schedule in just about 2-3 weeks from when I received the estimate. I agreed, and they were able to get the job done for the cost they had estimated. I appreciate greatly that they did what they could to keep my costs down, including using paint I already had on hand to match the sections they repaired. In addition, they ended up matching my ceiling texture so well, they didn't even have to repaint the ceiling. The damage in the bathroom ended up being a little more complicated then we first thought, so they used the extra time that freed up to further work on the bathroom and it looks great! Working with the ladies was refreshing, after having been talked down to by a number of other contractors. They provided honest, straight-forward explanation of what needed to be done, what it would cost, and got the job done professionally and quickly. I'd hire them again and recommend them to friends and family. Note: we also happen to have dogs and were dogsitting a third dog when the opening came up. The dogs were barky with new people in the house, but the team was very kind and patient with them and me while we settled them down both days the work was being done. Their kindness and ability to roll with the slight delay this caused to ensure we didn't have all day barking was fantastic. A+, Highly Recommend!!!"

"Following a storm that left hail damage to our roof, we contacted Black Bear Builders. While working with Stuart to choose roofing materials we decided to update the entire exterior of our house. This included siding, gutters, and garage doors. Stuart provided many roofing and siding samples for us to choose from and was quick to provide additional samples when requested. Stuart and his team were very friendly and professional. The quality of the work is top notch. Stuart was able to accommodate our special demands, such as lighting for the address, additional electrical for the Christmas lights, decorative brackets, and the dimensions of the complementary siding. Stuart came back multiple times after the roof was completed to check for nails in the drive, shrubs, and yard. He showed the same concern for our satisfaction after the siding was completed as well. It looks like we live in a new house now. It has been eight months since the siding was installed and we still get that feeling of satisfaction every time we pull up to our home. We will definitely contact Black Bear Builders for future projects."

"Went in to have the AWD fixed and the car checked in general.  They recommended a new serpentine belt and breaks.  We did both.  The belt was wrong and squeeled whenever we turned.  Went back, they said it wasn't bad so drive it some more.  Squeel got worse so we brought it back.  They changed the belt the the car has never driven the same since.  On the breaks.  They replaced them quickly but we sound like a city bus whenever we use them, squeeking every time.  Overall the quality and attention to detail is lacking.  I would not recommend them if you want quality work. <br />"
