We wanted to add a shower to the existing bathtub. They were able to plumb the new bathtub and shower. It’s very quiet and it looks great. Wiseman’s also remodeled my kitchen in another home, and three years later, we still love it. We couldn’t be happier with their work."

"Joe and his son Joe showed up on time and we discussed what was going to be done. Joe Sr. asked me since the backsplash was going to be white did I want to change the outlets and switches from ivory to white which I did. He said he would take care of it. Took a couple of hours for all of the supplies and the new granite to be picked up and then they started the demo. of the kitchen. Next day I was informed that since Joe Sr was the only one in the company who knew how to cut granite he was being sent to another project but would return to continue work on my kitchen. Two hours later he did and worked on cutting and installing the granite. Another worked cleaned the cabinets with the Restore A Finish. I received a call later in the day from the owner William Caldwell who informed me that Joe Sr was going to be sent to another project and others would finish the work. The next day I had two workers replacing the threshold and front porch post, the plumber showed up but because two workers where installing the backsplash he couldn't hook up the dishwasher so he said he would return the following day. Because of the schedule Caldwell Construction brought in Corinthian Tile and Stone to install the backsplash and the two men did a great job. The plumber returned the next day and installed the dishwasher. The only complaint I have is about the outlets and switches. When I asked William Caldwell about installing them he said it wasn't part of the contract and would have to be done at another time. He said he would give me a good price. Two weeks later I called and said I would like to set up an appointment to have the outlets and switches replaced and that Joe Sr had already purchased the items so I had everything here. The office said she would check the schedule and call me back. She didn't call back so I called again the next day and spoke with Steven the field manager who said they were too busy with two new kitchens they were working on and said he couldn't pull anyone away for a day to take care of it. He said he would speak with William Caldwell and call me back. He didn't. I hired Jones Electric who came out and in less than an hour replaced the outlets and switches."

"We hired Streamline to replace a support beam in our kitchen that was too small. They came out and looked and gave us a quote. They started on time and stayed until the job was done. It took several days, but Mark and Harry were in constant contact and communication with them was great. We didn’t have to worry about the little things that pop up on jobs like this. They did exactly what they promised and even came back a few extra times to make sure it was perfect. Everything about this team was just wonderful. "We decided to have our master bathroom remodeled to make it safer after a slip and fall injury occurred while stepping out of our large tub/shower combo. We interviewed several companies and chose America’s Dream Homeworks because we were impressed with what our salesman, Neil, had to offer and the recommendations he made. We enjoyed our visit to the show room, and we were also very pleased with the quality of the products they use. The company was flexible in rescheduling our start date to accommodate my trip to Canada. We have nothing but the highest praise for Viktor Tyukayev who did most of the work himself: demolition down to the subfloor and studs, dry rot repair, installation of sheet rock, tape, texture and paint. He removed our outdated fluorescent ceiling light box and soffit and replaced them with LED recessed can lights. Viktor oversaw and coordinated the work of the countertop, shower surround, and glass door installation teams. He is tireless, meticulous, very hardworking, and detail oriented. Viktor kept the worksite very clean and he communicated very well with the city inspector. We also had very positive interactions with Julie Tumanova. She helped us with our products and she was always so responsive and gracious. She is very much suited to her position. Our master bathroom is absolutely beautiful and safe. America’s Dream Homeworks very much exceeded our expectations in every way!"

"I hired this company to renovate a garage that was converted into a family room approx 60 years ago by my parents. The space included a shower, toilet, in small area. After inheriting the house, I hired this company to update the bathroom, which was the original construction 1955, only a cement finish. Additionally, he transformed the family room into a bedroom for myself and added a sink vanity and mirror, installed new doors, and laid tile in the vanity area, bthrm, & shower stall. Before & after pictures will be posted, noting that the before pictures depict the space when it was rented by someone else. Company owner Raul, demonstrated exceptional expertise and provided valuable feedback throughout the project. "Working with Arno at Amsterdam Woodworks has been an amazing experience. Both my wife and are very creative, skilled in many aspects of construction and remodeling and consider ourselves to be obsessive perfectionists. Because of that, we take on many aspects of our projects ourselves but cabinet making is not something we would tackle. So when it was time to partner with someone that was equally obsessed with perfection, we were so lucky to have found Amsterdam Woodworks... and Arno has not disappointed. The craftsmanship and quality of the cabinetry is amazing. We had our choice of wood species and we ended up with a customized stain on alder that tied the cabinetry into our floors and other major furnishings. Arno provided multiple iterations of stain samples on large pieces of wood for us to review together with our furnishings, counters and lighting before we made a final selection. And now that we know what the stain recipe is, we can have it recreated if we need additional cabinets or do touch-up. Our project included a rather large and odd-shaped peninsula. This was a complicated piece with multiple non-standard angles leaving the potential for wasted space. Arno was able to make all areas accessible and functional. The installation has gone extremely well and Arno was always there when he needed to be. And the integration with other trades was smooth. Arno initially installed the cabinet boxes without drawers and doors to ensure that other trades wouldn't damage them in the process of them doing their work. I can't tell you how many times we've had plumbers, electricians, sheet-rockers and flooring trades damage cabinetry by being careless. This was simply brilliant! When our project started, we met with multiple cabinet makers. The scope included the entire kitchen plus custom cabinetry in our dining room. None of others were as attentive as Amsterdam Woodworks in making sure they understood what we wanted and making sure their proposals reflected it. Although Amsterdam Woodworks wasn't the lowest cost, they were by far the best value by a wide margin. We were not change-ordered to death on small tweaks and minor changes we made during the process. And the best part is we had Arno's full attention throughout. Beyond his amazing craftsmanship, Arno has been wonderful to work with. At no time have we ever felt it was an imposition to contact him whenever we needed to. He always has a positive outlook and truly enjoys his work ... and it shows."

"Divine Tile and Stone was VERY professional, friendly and hard-working.  They told us what would happen and when, and they kept to that schedule. They were punctual every day.  They put up plastic sheeting to protect the rest of the house from any dust.  They kept to the job time frame  and price as provided in their estimate  In fact, they finished a bit early.   
The stairs were an usual shape and rather steep, and I was concerned.  However, the finished product is beautiful and solid.  All the floors are beautiful and I'm VERY pleased with their work.   They cleaned up every bit of their work as well as all the packaging material.  I highly recommend Divine Tile and Stone.  I plan on using them again when I install the backsplash in my kitchen.

"The walls were down to the studs so the plumbers could access the pipes to convert them from a tub/shower set-up to a shower only set-up. This included installing a new valve for the shower. They did this part of the job on June 18. It took an afternoon and the job was complete when they left the premises that day. We paid them by check, $475. Once the shower pan, drain, and shower walls were installed the plumbers returned on August 14 to connect the drain and install the outside wall shower fixture and faucet. It took 3/4's of the day because they ran into an unforseen problem with our shut-off valve to the house. It failed to work properly and they ended up having to replace it. That was an additional cost which we agreed to pay ($300). The end of the day came, and the plumber took me into the shower stall to explain that the large rain-style showerhead is dripping, but those type of fixtures do that for a bit after the shower is turned off. We paid them $525 for the fixture and faucet install. Over the next 90 minutes I checked on the dripping fixture, and it had not stopped. It was more than a small drip. It was dripping a lot. I reached out to the plumber and he said the problem was likely the fixture needed replacing. The fixture was brand new out of the box. I did some research on YouTube about dripping shower fixtures and found that it is likely an issue with the valve. It could be damaged, faulty, or dirty. When I told the plumber this he disagreed. The next week he sent one of his guys back to look it it, and he said the same thing: The fixture needs replacing. You need to send it back and get a different type of unit. After this I went online again and found another opinion that it is the valve. So I sent the plumber a video of the unit dripping from the connection where I removed the hose shower head. When he saw this he agreed that it was the valve. However, he did not offer his service to come back to check the valve and provided a solution. This lead me to contact another plumber and this plumber concurred that it was a valve issue, the valve cartridge. He sent his guy over on August 25th, and he removed the cartridge and ordered a replacement one, and is going to come back on August 28th to install it for us. This is estimated to cost us $650, $400 labor and $200 for the cartridge. My gripe with the plumber I hired from Angie is that he left us with a drippy shower and did not care enough to come back and correct it. He made excuses that he was so busy and working out of the area. We did not pay a professional to leave us with a drippy shower unit. It is our opinion that the job was not completed satisfactorily. We kept having to turn our water to the house on and off because the dripping never stopped. The shower unit was turned off and it just kept dripping. The total we paid this company was $1300. $475 for the converted piping, $300 for the new house shut-off valve and $525 for the fixture installation. In addition, I asked the plumber multiple times to provide a receipt for the jobs they did, and have received no paperwork from them. This is most unprofessional. There should be a document with the charges and what they were for, and confirmation of payment."
