The workshop was months away due to the permitting process, but he wanted to go ahead and do the porch refinishing since he was available that week. Then it was delayed until the weekend. And here's where the saga begins. He showed up with his 3 young daughters in tow. Then it started raining before he could finish resurfacing the porch. He showed up after noon the next day and finished while we were away and sent pictures. I questioned the texture and he assured me that it was because of the picture was zoomed in. On to Wednesday (3 days later) after the porch was dry...it was so rough that I couldn't walk on it and the color had swirls in it. Then the struggle of getting that corrected. "I am writing to formally address the issues concerning the project I hired Jackson of J & M Concrete to complete at my property. The scope of work was to diagnose and repair a pond leak as well as address a sinkhole, with an estimated project completion time of 2-3 days. The estimated total price was $6300, of which 50% was to be paid in advance, $3150 was paid. On January 2, 2025, Jackson, of J & M, poured some concrete, which was to cure and settle before the next phase. The project was left incomplete. Jason removed all equipment and left the job site by the next morning, leaving large ruts in the yard from the trackhoe and other heavy equipment. The sinkhole was not addressed, nor the pond leak. It has remained unfinished and has been getting worse during the last 2 and a half months. I called days two and three when there was no sign of them coming back and made numerous phone calls over the next couple months to find out when they would be back to finish the job, seeing as they were paid beyond the scope of the job they did. It has been more than 2 ½ months and no return phone call. At the end of February, I received a letter from the concrete company contracted by J &M, Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, which is seeking payment for their services – “Notice to Contractor and Request for Notice of Commencement, O.C.G.A & s.44-14-361.5.” I called them and found out that their bill had not been paid by J & M. I notified Jackson about this matter and he texted back saying he was in Florida and would call in the upcoming week due to a death in the family. As of today, March 13, the pond continues to leak, and the sinkhole remains unresolved, even growing in size. The equipment used during the project caused enough damage to require that additional fees be spent for hiring a landscaper to address the ruts in the lawn left by the trackhoe, as well as the excavated hill dirt used to block the creek from flowing into the pond. The partial blockage diverted the water, causing it to overflow its banks. Fortunately, the blockage has since been cleared."

"Hydrotech pools refinished our pool white pool to a light blue. Their site describes a first rate process and guarantees excellent results. We noticed immediately that the pool had very poor coverage as the old finish showed through in multiple areas. Photos were sent to Damian and he promised to come out and refinish appropriately. The attached photos show the very poor quality result. After stringing us along for more than a year, I have finally decided to post a review describing the poor quality job and the utter lack of customer service. We have been attempting to communicate with Damian regularly for more than a year and he has had ample opportunity to make the job right. The company claims to be a reputable company, however the treatment we have had from Damian at Hydrotech pools is very unprofessional and shameful."
