"The only painting service company to follow-up after being informed the scope of work was just to strip and re-paint two exterior doors. Apparently, the other companies are only interested in larger scopes of work. Those companies will go under when the next recession hits as they have likely upset many "smaller" customers. In any case, the work was done promptly, and everyone with whom I interacted was professional in every aspect. I have other painting jobs that will need to be done in the near future (including a complete exterior painting for a 5000 sf two-story house) and this will be the only company that I will use.
