"My wife and I contacted Ogburn Construction, Inc. after seeing one of their TV ads. They specialize in concrete driveway and sidewalk repair. Although we were very skeptical of their processes for lifting sunken and cracked drives and sidewalks, we were hopeful that their sales presentation and free quote would be the answers to our concrete problems. Well, after the sales rep made his presentation and presented his findings and recommendations, we were more than impressed. All of the reviews we had seen online were positive, and the customer photos of their previous work were quite impressive. We signed the contract and less than a month later, they were onsite working on our sunken and cracked garage floor, driveway, and sidewalks. All of the workers and supervisory staff were friendly, professional and polite, and they worked extremely hard in the terrible July heat, which was in the high 90's. I remained skeptical of the final results throughout the repair process, but when we saw the final product we were literally blown away by what they accomplished. They lifted our garage floor so there was no gap at the bottom of my garage door, and they lifted our driveway and sidewalks so they were level again. All of the cracks were repaired and colored to match the concrete, and they even scrubbed the aggregate driveway and sidewalks and applied a commercial sealant to make everything look brand new. "Our roof was supposed to last 30 years but, because of hurracanes and all our trees eventually coming down it was damaged and the company we'd used did an inadequate job repairing it. We also got more damage later from more storms and BMF showed up right on time. Isaac and his crew fixed that and after 3 other estimates we decided to replace the whole roof though it was only 20 years old. Again, BMF came to our rescue with a reasonable estimate and shortly thereafter reroofed our house and garage, using new shingles able to withstand high winds, also straightening up a problem with leakage around part of our gutter system that had become apparent in the last few years during heavy downpours. They knocked the job out in two days, cleaned up all the debris and couldn't have been more professional. I believe this time we finally found a contractor who did it right and we won't be fooling around with random leaks or tiles blowing off when the hurracanes, hailstorms or falling branches come again as they surely will. Thanks to Issac, Monty and the rest of the BMF crew, we finally have peace of mind at a reasonable cost. I highly reccomend this company, for repairs or replacement, they did a swell job."

"I started by calling a couple of the foundation companies, but they tried to make me think my house was sinking to its ruin and wanted me to spend over $20,000 to make rock solid repairs! Fortunately I have common sense, and started calling brick masons instead. I found Hipp on Angie's List and called for an estimate. He came out, looked at the area where I had issues, and then walked around the house looking at other smaller problems. He suggested digging to the footer on the front corner, installing jacks, and trying to raise the foundation to its proper level. He also recommended re-pointing some of the other smaller areas and replacing my slooping front porch concrete. I opted for the foundation and all the brick work, leaving the porch for later. When they first attempted to lift the foundation, some cracks started to re-open around the windows on the inside, so I asked them to stop and just stabilize at that point. The replacement windows had been installed about 15 years ago and were aligned to the slope, and worked perfectly. They did an excellent job, and I am extremely pleased with the work!! Chuck even dabbed some paint on some bricks that had been damaged by a power washer, so that they would match the other bricks. He left me the paint so that I can later "dab" around bricks stained from the wash down of my aluminum siding. This is a small company (just three of them I think), and I had to call several times to get set up. And it took a while for them to get to my job. This is why the C for responsiveness. But once they started, they were prompt and professional, well worth the wait! I opted to wait on the porch work, but will hire them to do that soon. Note: I have found that the best contractors are the small, hands-on companies. They are all hard to reach, and take a while to schedule, but they tend to be fair, and do the best work!"
