"Ray, the owner, showed up on time, and walked around with me to see what work needed to be done. He explained that he would pressure wash all of the surfaces before staining them. We discussed stain color and Ray recommended a solid stain instead of the semi transparent that was used previously. Ray showed up on time for the pressure washing and the staining. They were respectful of the property and very neat! The stain(Ray matched the color perfectly) looks fabulous. They did a great job, and I will use them for future projects. I'm glad to recommend them to anyone looking for quality painting at reasonable rates!"

"I bought a daily deal for $89 drywall repair. i had a relatively small section of drywall that was damaged by water from a leak last winter. the work required fixing a corner area as well as a portion of my ceiling. work was done quickly, with good quality, and at a very fair price. ceiling was textured and you can't tell that it was patched, very well done.
he also offered to handle the repainting which i opted to purchase. i was less satisfied with the painting that was done, seemed like a rush job and the painting portion cost about 2x the drywall work. overall, drywall portion was excellent but i should have painted it myself.

"Vincent and Drake are two wonderful young men who take any task given to them and do it extremely well. I originally hired them to do carpentry in our house. They did such beautiful work that I decided to have them redo our deck. Both projects were done masterfully. I could not have asked for better workmanship or more pleasant and professional young men to do that work. I highly recommend them for any project they take on."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Clifton Springs, NY

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
