Our property needed a complete makeover due to aging, original landscaping and water intrusion in the crawlspace. KJL developed a beautiful plan for our yard. They thoroughly removed the old landscaping, including properly finishing the tree stump removal that a nationally-known firm left incomplete and concealed. KJL expertly regraded our property for good drainage and flow. They diligently solved water issues on the turf and from AC drains. KJL created big, beautiful flower beds, enriched with lots of new soil that they brought in. They also used timbers and stones to make attractive enclosures for our AC condensers and utilities. "Bill and his team are top notch to say the least. We had a huge backyard project that I needed help rescuing because of some bad experiences with other contractors. Bill came in and listened to what we needed, the budget we were after, and best of all, showed up and did the work in a punctual fashion. He did a large landscaping project including a pond/waterfall that is unbelievable. He did a great job of designing things but also listening to what we wanted out of the project. He even came back on his own account and improved some things about the pond that he didn't think were up to his standards. I've never had a contractor come back and do something that he himself discovered to improve it without me even pointing it out. When he says he does it right, he means it and the work is of the highest quality. It may take some time for him to get to your project, but he is worth the wait. Plan ahead and use Outdoor Contracting if you want the work to last and to be done the right way. I wouldn't have anything else done in my outdoor space by anyone else."

"They came to fix and change the chandelier fixture in my outdoor entry way.  The chandelier was moved and put in the wrong place, and hung to one side.  The chandelier was even noticeably off center looking into my house from the outside.  They came back when I asked and moved the chandelier but left a whole in my garage.  I had to call another company in order to fix the problem.  I had to use another company and they fixed the problem very easily.  This is the only time I have used someone from Angie’s list and it didn’t work out."

The owner showed up right on time and went over everything needed and gave me an instant price, we scheduled for the next available time. The work team showed up when scheduled and began work immediately, they did a thorough job of removing weeds, etc. exactly as requested. Afterward they installed mulch with the best results I've seen, it all looks very professionally done and should prove maintenance free for a good while.
