"Strong recommendation for plumber. I’ve always done the plumbing on our houses. I’m not great, but functional. We took over both sides of our duplex and wanted to combine the hot water and replace the 20 year old water heater. Kedge gave a lot of good information not only about the job, but about our systems in general. I got the written estimate Monday, accepted it and they scheduled for the next morning. Nate and Bill showed up on time. Both were very friendly and informative. And the work – beautiful. I do sloppy pvc. I have done copper and it’s worse. Nate’s work was beautiful. I had been dithering about paying someone to do what I probably could have done and then I saw his work. I saw the difference between an amateur and a pro. $1550. Next day service. Two hours to do what would have taken me at least all day and the end result is a thing of beauty. I’m a happy boy. Hudson Plumbing. Good name to remember. And no, I don’t work for them. I don’t get a discount or kickback. I’m just a very satisfied camper."

The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."
