"Way to pricey for the level of work preformed. He's Charged and independent plumber and charged me $275 to twitch out a cartridge plus tye cost of the part. Finding out the steps were; unscrew the handle, turn of the water using the shut off valves in the pipe, unscrew the cartridge, replace cartridge, turn on water, and screw handle back on. He charged me $275 for labor and the part was only $130. Definitely extortion pricing. When I asked why was labor so much he saif because he had to go to two place to find the part and he's working on a Saturday. He's like a taxi, kept the meter running while driving around to get the part and he seemed to be under the impression that I forced him to work on a Saturday. I will not use again and I do not recommend. He should price fair by the level of difficulty of a job and not just by what he feel he is owed."

I initially called to get a price quote and was upfront about calling other companies as well, which he was totally fine with. Not surprisingly, Dan did quote the lowest, but I also chose Dan based on his demeanor over the phone. When he arrived, it took him less than 30 minutes to fix the problem but he talked me thru everything he was doing and helped me understand toilet basics.
