"Brian and his team are fantastic! I could not believe my eyes when I looked out at my yard after sunrise this morning. He transformed our overgrown and unruly lawn into a park! My wife and I are looking forward to sitting out on our deck and simply enjoying the incredible makeover of our yard. Brian put in a high quality dark mulch to fill sculpted garden spaces, added plants and flowers that are beautiful and deer-resistant, formed borders around trees, shaped our shrubbery, removed overgrowth and deadwood from trees, removed vines from tree limbs that were threatening their health and beauty, removed unwanted ivy from our property, and more. He spent time before and during the project to make sure that he understood our goals. He stands by his work, and I am sure he will continue to be there for advise at any time. His prices were not the lowest, but reasonable considering the scope and quality of the work performed. No doubt we will continue to use him and recommend him."

"This work took place eleven months ago, but that gives us the ability to say that everything Kurt’s team planted looks great and is growing nicely, except one bush that is struggling, which Kurt agreed to replace without hesitation. We have been in our house for 22 years, and finally got around to replacing the crummy landscaping and walkway the developer put in. Distinct Landscapes installed a paver walkway, and a complete set of bushes, flowers and a crape myrtle tree. The work was done very well and within budget, and the crew distinguished itself by how well they cleaned up the site. The spacing between plantings to allow for future growth seems perfect. Most of all we like Kurt. He is low-key and friendly, offers solid, knowledgeable opinions when asked, and never applies any sort of sales pressure. We would use Distinct Landscapes again, and recommend them without hesitation."

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further!
