"This was an amazing job done on our retaining wall and added a great look to our home. When Darren came out and talked me through the quote he gave me tips on things to ask others that came out even if we didn’t go with them to make sure we were going to get something that would last and be done correctly. I can’t recommend them enough! Our wall turned out amazing and looks great. Love that we were able to get the metal fence post concrete into the wall as well. His crew were respectful of our grass around the area and left the area looking clean and put back together when the job was done. They initially accidentally covered our sprinkler heads up but they came promptly back out and uncovered them and made sure they were working properly before leaving. We have a leveled out backyard that runs up to the wall and no more falling over retaining wall! We have already had tons of compliments on the wall as well!"

"I hired Moises Pizana Hardscapes to replace a rotting railroad tie retaining wall near my house. They responded very quickly to my inquiry, and the owner came out the next morning to look at the worksite and give me a bid. He clearly was experienced and knowledgeable, and even suggested a couple of ways that they could do a better job than I had envisioned. Knowing that there would be a few things that might slow the project up (tree roots, and because we live on a limestone cliff with very shallow soil in places, they might need to dig down into the limestone to create a stable base for the two retaining walls), he gave me a bid of 2½ to 3 days. The work crew began work at 7:30 the next morning. They were genial, efficient, and really knew what they were doing, both in removing the old railroad ties and hauling them away, and in setting the bases for the new stone walls and installing the blocks. And they were finished at 4:30 p.m.! I would happily recommend MPH to anyone, and will certainly call on them again myself the next time I need to replace a rotting retaining wall."

"Lon and his crew were excellent! We have a basement in our home in the DFW airport area. Half of the basement is under ground and was flooding enough during storms that we had to run wet dry vacs and dehumidifiers for up to 48 hours whenever there was a big thunderstorm or extended periods of consistent rain. Lon did his work over a year ago and I hesitated to write a review until some major rain came around. But since he did his work, we have not had any water related to seepage in the foundation reappear. What a blessing! This was not an easy job for his team. When they got in to create the ditch, we found the previous homeowners tried their own fix with less expensive corrugated black pipe buried a little higher. This had collapsed and the massive number of rocks for drainage were quickly taking the water to our foundation rather than out to the street. Lon's team removed all of those rocks, dug a new trench, used a sledgehammer on some bedrock to ensure they were below the foundation with all of their drains and took a new 6" diameter solid line out almost 100 yards to the street. They also laid a second pipe on top of it to drain rainwater from our gutters. The result is incredibly impressive. When we get drenched, it's no big deal. Drains that used to be overwhelmed during severe thunderstorms were replaced with ones that quickly take the water out to the street. An engineering miracle. I highly recommend Lon and the team for their integrity, quick (and hard) work and getting it right. The guys really know what they are doing when it comes to drainage."
