"Fabulous experience - All Type Landscaping is terrific! We had an old stone patio that was a mess, and was surrounded by old overgrown bushes. Tom is just great to work with. He listened to what we hoped to achieve, presented various ideas, and was on the job each of the four days. As they were going to update a retaining wall around the patio area, he suggested we meet to look at rocks and boulders, as well as the stone for the patio, which we greatly appreciated - it was a HUGE help. We also liked that he communicated frequently, told us what would and wouldn't work and offered alternatives. He is truly a craftsman and expert. And his employees are outstanding, as well. We loved them! They're super hard workers who know what they're doing and are invested in their jobs. All Type completed our project today - we are stunned at the transformation and could not be happier! Our backyard is opened up, the new look blends in naturally and beautifully. We will work with All Type again, hopefully next year, for another smaller project. We highly recommend. Five stars and more!"

"Fantastic fathers/son duo. Took about 3 weeks to include gutting down to the studs, building partial wall, reenforcing floor to accommodate curbless walkin. Dual shower heads. Meticulous. I have never seen a more beautiful shower! Lines straight and squared. They even made sure the rocks on the tile floor were even!!! Thank you Gil Sr & Jr. we are thrilled and exceeded all expectations!"

"John is a skilled tradesman, arrived a tad late, but was casual and confident. Looked at the task, said the estimate would be by the hourly rate ($80 an hour if I recall correctly), and made two trips to finish the task, a few hours each time (two different areas so that worked out for us). Asked us to check his work before he left, methodical and exact workmanship. I really like this guy! The exterior wall is over 40years old exposed to the elements, and he patched any breakage in the mortar, fixed any separations and finished the area where a new window went in. After everything dried, does not look obvious that any "patch" or "repair work had been done- blends right in! Knew the stone product (no longer available) and how to make it look new. We were really satisfied! <br />"

"Hazen Lawncare is excellent! They have been professional, timely, and they do quality work. They are very helpful and prompt fixing mistakes when they happen. For example, this winter the plow extended into the grass on the edge of the driveway and pulled up a patch of grass. Before I could notify them, they had come by and repaired the section and it was good as new! <br> <br>They are very responsive and I get lots of compliments about my lawn from neighbors and friends. They are great! <br> <br>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Coloma, MI

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
