"I was looking to replace our tile countertops with solid-surface or quartz countertops. We liked the Quantra Quartz line sold by Oregon Tile and Marble. We asked them to hold two slabs for us and then went looking for fabricators around the Portland area. We got quite bids from a number of fabricators with a wide range in price. All of these were A-rated on AL. We chose Milan Stoneworks from all the bids because of a combination of price/responsiveness/details mentioned in the quote, etc. They were not the cheapest, but then you do get what you pay for. <br /> I talked to Dan a couple of times and found him to be very professional. His crew (for template and later on, installation) were always on time, did excellent work and cleaned up after they left. I was also impressed when I saw that the installation crew helped the floor installer move some kitchen appliances. <br /> I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them. <br />"

"Jeff responded to my call promptly, and was very proactive when scheduling and confirming our appointments. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone after seeing some photos that I emailed him. The work required two visits. During the first visit, he evaluated the repairs, applied epoxy to the cracked /chipped areas, and stabilized the pieces with wood. About a week later, he returned to hone and polish the marble and repaired areas. Some of the epoxy repairs required him to match multiple colors of marble, which he did beautifully. He works with his wife, and they were both very polite and quiet, tented the work area with plastic to protect nearby furnishings, worked very efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. Because there were additional repairs beyond his original quote, we paid $25 more than the price he quoted via email. I felt this was more than fair. We were very happy with the work, and would have them back in the future without a doubt."

"We have used Sorin twice, once in our previous home to remove an existing marble tile face and hearth and replace with new tumbled marble. He did an excellent job, and consulted me on layout choices. The previous hearth was slightly elevated from the oak floors and looked "home made". When he relayed the hearth it was at the same level as the floors and looked very professional. He was timely, kept the surrounding  area clean and protected and is very personable to work with. <br /> <br /> Our second project was at our 1973 condo. He installed a tile mosaic backsplace with a wall mount faucet.It looks wonderful-tile layout and grout is absolutely perfect. He also did a backsplash using a combination of glass/stone from Home Depot. He used the right blade to cut the glass so that it did not chip or shatter, then ground or filed the sharp edges so they were smooth to the touch. A great result with a low cost product."

While we didn't achieve a perfect match with the shower install, Lea (the shop owner) went out of her way to give us personal attention and do what was needed to ensure we were a satisfied customer. "This job went perfectly! We found Solid Solutions on Angie's List and went through a home improvement store since they were the Corian contractors for that company. Mike called us less than 24 hrs. after we'd put in our initially inquiry. The next day he was out measuring. One week later they came out to template and a week after that our countertops were installed! The installers, Matt and Blake, were very respectful, informative and easy to communicate with. In fact, everyone at the company with whom I dealt was. Everyone who came to the house for the various stages of the project arrived on time (if not early), and fully cleaned up after themselves. I am 100% satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this stellar company."

"Crowley's was a fantastic hard working and caring company to work with. They have solid old fashioned values that shine through when taking care of their customers, a rare thing to find these days. The quote process was easy and timely, and they made sure that we were very well informed of the whole process, and in our difficult kitchen setup they worked with us to come up with a good end solution. We had several change orders and those were all timely also. The template and layout process was great, we loved being involved. As with all remodel jobs there were some bumps along the way and they worked exceedingly hard and were incredibly kind, patient and reasonable working through them with us. We knew they really cared about us being in love with the work at the end. Everyone in the office that we interacted with were all just caring, kind, genuine people. Extra special thanks to the amazing Randi for helping us so much with picking out stone, spending hours and hours looking for a color match- she worked her tail off for us! And to the whole install team and others who came to help with the install, you are excellent at what you do! Our counters are stunning, the seams are barely perceptible, and you were so respectful of our home. We just want to say thank you and to anyone looking at Crowley's, they are worth every penny.
