"I chose Michael Lex Construction for my siding project for several reasons. I have an older, 1920’s house with cedar shingle siding. This consisted mostly of the original shingles but had missing shingles, a number of repairs done over the years as evidenced by newer shingles, which didn’t quite match, plus many layers of paint. I opted for a full house residing to create an overall even appearance and establish a known installation date. Mike, the owner, showed the greatest interest in restoring an older home and didn’t try to talk me into an engineered siding product. He had the most creative solutions for some tricky areas. I also had the last 2 original windows replaced. Because the windows were a slightly different size than the originals, Mike and his partner Chris, built new frames so the windows fit properly. I chose a hybrid window style with natural wood on the inside. Because they also replaced the window framing, I didn’t have to strip the paint from the old window frame as I’d intended, which was a happy side effect for me. I like that Mike is not only the owner but actually does the work vs. subcontracting or performing only project management. He has a vested interest in producing a quality result. The price was very competitive and the project was completed per the scope and time of the contract. Mike and Chris worked well together to create a beautiful outcome. I would certainly recommend this team and hire them again."

"The accent shingles on my house were very dirty and the paint on my front door was blistering and chipping away. I wanted the two to be a single color complementing the color of the house. I got bids from several contractors; all were pretty much in line with each other in terms of prices. There were two factors in my choice to go with Absolute Painting an Power Washing. First, the reviews I read from various sources shows their quality is stellar; second, their color consultant spent the time necessary with me to choose the right color ( not included in the bid ). They spent two full days stripping the door of its old paint, and then prepping and applying primer and paint to the shingles and door. When all was done, I was amazed at how it turned out. The new accent colors added character to the house. Their workmanship is second to none with no flaws in the areas they painted. They even went as far as providing touch up to the trim where paint had chipped off over the years. When I'm ready for the house to be fully repainted, I now know who to turn to."

"Ackerman beat out three vendors for the job, just by having a responsive receptionist with prompt scheduling. They scheduled the repair within a week. I actually forgot he was coming that day, but the plumber came on site, called me before the job started to ask a couple questions / make sure I knew what was happening, and followed up end of day with the final result. Billing was as projected, and invoicing was timely. I will *definitely* be calling Ackerman for anything plumbing related in the future, for our HOA. If there is a slight difference in cost (which I'm not sure there is), it's well worth it for responsive call backs / scheduling, service calls that happen when scheduled, and good communication throughout."

"Not well. They did great with the gutters, but this project was not done with excellence. Installers were great people, but a few of their choices they made in the process of repair were poor. I decided to use them for a gutter project that went well - but for repairs like this, I would not use them again. Used wrong wood for outside window framing and used cardboard as shims when they ran out of wooden shims. Other issues as well, but suffice to say - just not an experience I'd do twice. Owner did do his best to resolve issues when I raised them, and for that - I give them credit and went forward on a gutter job. But for siding repair or general handyman work - I would not work with them again."

"Bryce came out and checked out the RV before ordering new valves. Our rig is a 2003 Suncruiser and we are the third owner so it is now out of warranty. The new valve didn’t seem to make a difference but they checked with the factory and discovered it could be just an air bubble. We ran the slide in and out a few times to get the bubble out and it works like a champ now. At Your Service never charges additional trip fees if they have to come back on the same work order. We have used them for all our repair needs since we bought this RV in 2012. They are the best RV service center around as they come to you and are trained on all brands. And, if you have a service warranty on your vehicle, they bill them for you. Thank you for your great customer service!"
