He gave us a very fair competitive quote for roof replacement but also for the siding and gutters. Next day the team with AJ Mayer (project manager) and Willy (crew chief) arrived at our door. The team was punctual, friendly and incurable hardworking! They have to replace all the roof and worked on the job all day to finish the same day they started. They cleaned up all property and we had a new roof. Next week, a new siding was done also in one day. The last were gutters and our house look like just was built. i highly recommend this company and i wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future roofing and siding needs. "Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."

I was told by a different contractor who fixed some gutters, that I needed to have someone who knew how to fix flat roofs inspect my flat porch roof. After asking around, several people highly recommended contacting William Mackay. "Robert arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional.  We have alot of LF of gutters and 12/12 pitch roofs and dormers.  He did the work quickly and cleanly, bagging all of the debris.  Normally, when I do it, the ground looks like a hurricane had been through but with K&R, I couldn't even tell the gutters had been cleaned.  Beautiful!

"We were extremely pleased with Hammer and Nail.  Everyone was very helpful and made good recommendations.  Hammer and Nail helped us select the best option for us.  (I really wanted wood windows, which I think are far more attractive) and I wanted low maintenance, easy to clean and energy efficiency.  We love our windows.  Hammer and Nail even perfectly matched the paint on the interior of the windows to the interior paint.  The work was done quickly with minimum disruption (including all the preparations for removing the windows which had previously been painted with lead paint).  We were so pleased, we asked them to replace the remaining windows and our front door.  The workmanship was excellent and everyone was also very kind and lovely to us.  We love Hammer and Nail!!!
