They offered excellent advice on how to accomplish the project, but only after they asked enough questions to find out exactly what we wanted. The bidding process was honest and straightforward. We had a fairly major project where a retaining wall had to be completely demolished and rebuilt from scratch, as well as a brick stairway reconstructed. It was explained how the stairway reconstruction could be either more or less expensive depending on factors that would only become apparent as the existing stairway was taken apart. We were given both a best case and worst case scenario for how long that part of the project would take, as well as the costs. At every point in the project, we were informed as to the conditions that had to be repaired. The work required ended up being in the midpoint of the range we were given, as well as the price. None of it was cheap, but we got excellent service."

"Very well. Mr. Shuleva took a whole year before the project was started, but once he got his workers in place, it went very well. In addition to creating a swale that directed floodwaters away from our house, he tied our drainpipes into a drain that took the water away from the house and installed a french drain (I think that's the correct term) around the retaining wall under our prized back porch. He also did some extras, including giving me two nice shrubs (some sort of hydrangea, I forget the name), replanting a dogwood and some heritage lilacs that he had to move in order to do the rest of the work, and reseeding another part of the yard. We get compliments on the work. Looks great, and the grass is coming in nicely."

Brian Palmer was the only one to ask if we had deer come through our property and when we said yes, he recommended a variety of plants that the deer would ignore yet still give us a nice option of colors and shapes. We had some very specific requests like gray boulders, black mulch and a mix of colorful plants that he was able to acquire, install and arrange for us. We told him we had a budget we wanted to stick too and did not want any upsell and they listened to us. It has been over two months now since the work has been completed and a smile still comes to our face every time we walk through our yard. All this and they were still one of the best price estimates we received."
